Founded in 2016, Breakdown Bolton is a community interest company which is peer led by qualified and experienced artists who have had experience of mental health issues. We work in many different art forms and aim to offer our participants high quality arts classes, exhibition, and cultural opportunities. We do this by promoting high level creativity, individual expression, and empowerment through art, in a safe and positive environment for those across the Greater Manchester region. At Breakdown Bolton we focus on increasing accessibility to art for those with lived experience of mental health and substance misuse issues. We are passionate about breaking down the barriers, stigma and prejudice and raising awareness of these issues. Breakdown Bolton can provide a stepping stone towards further artistic development for a person whose education, employment, and creative practices have been interrupted by poor mental health or substance misuse issues. At Breakdown Bolton we have a diverse range of skills within the team which we use to develop and deliver projects of the highest quality. We are professional artists educated at University level, having had visual artwork and writing published and commissioned. Our members have been awarded both individual and collective grants from bodies such as the Arts Council and are Unltd Alumni. In 2017, Breakdown Bolton was nominated for a National Diversity Award. Since then, we have been recipients of a New Art Space through Castlefield Gallery, worked closely with NeoArtists in Bolton, and have forged strong working partnerships with regional arts education organisations such as theatres, galleries, and local community services.

A very warm welcome to Valley College, situated on Ewood Campus. I am delighted to be Head of Valley College , an educational environment which is focused on its mission statement 'Preparation for Adulthood, Citizenship and Employment' (PACE). It is so important to ensure all learners gain the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives, and become informed, active and responsible citizens in society. Having been appointed as Head of Valley College and Ewood Campus in September 2021, I would like to share some information about the provision for Valley College learners. Valley College learners are supported by skilled and familiar staff and alongside their advocates, create a bespoke individualised pathway to ensure future aspirations are achieved. Learners are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities across and beyond the curriculum, contributing fully to the life of the college and their communities. Learners have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and understand how they are developing personally and socially, tackling many of the spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing into adulthood. Within Valley College, learners are able to develop new skills and access the community, and sessions are focused on preparing learners for adult life. Valley College ensures all learners leave with relevant qualifications (if appropriate) and gain their desired aspiration destination. We work together with our learners to increase their independence, so they can take more control over their lives. Valley College is a friendly place where learners can develop interests and gradually gain the skills and confidence they need to move on to the next stage of their lives, preparing them for adulthood, citizenship and employability.

ABOUT US Multiflex School Sports was originally started in 1989 by athletics coaches Tom Davies and Ron Newton. The original company name was T & R Sports Development. T & R Sports Development were given financial backing by ICI and later Astra Zeneca to deliver a sporting programme to Primary schools and High Schools to enthuse young children about sport. This programme used high achievers in sport such as Great Britain international athletes and professional Basketball players to deliver a programme that not only developed fitness and skill levels of young children but increased their enjoyment of sport and gave them a route into sports clubs outside of the school environment. Following the success of this programme Multiflex Sports was formed and went on to continue this sporting programme with local authorities and also Sports-hall athletics and Eveque sport and leisure. In 2005 the government introduced P.P.A. (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) to all UK Primary Schools. This meant that all teachers would then be allocated 2 hours a week away from their class timetable to make use of their PPA time effectively. Coincidently 2 hours a week is also the amount of time each child should receive P.E. lessons for so Multiflex altered their business model to provide PPA cover for schools in and around Cheshire. Mark Webb who is the Managing director of Multiflex realised there was an opportunity to provide high quality P.E. lessons in line with the National curriculum guidance on a weekly basis, whilst also providing support for schools and teachers through PPA cover. Multiflex developed a P.E. scheme for Primary schools that covered 6 areas of sport in line with the curriculum. Edge of Play, formed in late 2017, is an online coaching resource, providing football coaches with hundreds of football coaching videos from the grassroots and professional game. Our website is subscription based and features videos from grassroots coaches, elite level clubs, academies and professional players all sharing exciting ideas and insights. The site allows you to link in with your social media profiles to share content with peers, clubs and players. Our vision is to build a global, inclusive, online community of coaches: learning, interacting and creating, together. It is through our work with our clubs, that we have become acutely aware of the challenges facing amateur, semi-pro and even professional coaches. We know that in coaching (like most other jobs) people are always looking for new content to ensure their players remain in love with the game; to keep them engaged, learning, developing, and most importantly having fun. However, we are also aware that not everyone has the same circumstances, opportunities, or environment in which to coach. Therefore we are to provide the best service for the lowest cost! Whether you are a professional, academy or grassroots coach, or simply a mum or dad wanting to practice with your son or daughter in the back garden, Edge of Play will provide the same inclusive experience. WHO WE ARE We are lifelong friends and FA qualified coaches: Jack Norbury and James Stokes. Football coaching is our passion and we want to share this with the largest possible audience with an aim to support, guide and promote sports coaching all around the world. Alongside our extensive years of coaching, our careers covered roles in teaching and IT which gave us the perfect skill set to provide an online coaching resource.

I have always had a personal interest in self help and assisted therapy and began training in NLP (Neuro Linguistic programming) over 20 years ago, I have trained with both Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna who are both recognised leaders in this field. Gaining qualifications in both hypnotherapy and psychotherapy I am a member of the National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society and my training reflects the standards and ongoing training required by active members. I have ensured that my training provides the most recognised and up to date therapeutic interventions which I believe enhances my natural ability to understand and offer help to those who feel that therapy will empower and enable them to live the life they choose. Using an eclectic approach I am able to tailor bespoke treatment plans using the strengths of the client to gain understanding and achieve the best possible results. I am trained in the use of CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), PCT (person centred therapy) and psychodynamic therapy. As a published author I write all my own scripts when using hypnotherapy ensuring they have maximum effect enabling change at a subconscious level. I understand the life journey that brings a client to therapy is unique and on that basis I will offer a bespoke therapeutic package just for you. By running my practise from home I can offer a safe and comfortable environment without losing any of the professional standards you would expect. Confidentiality is foremost in my work and I work with the code of ethics that is required as a member of the National Counselling Society, and The National Hypnotherapy Society. It all began in June 2012, when a team of parents-enthusiasts set up a Russian speaking parent and toddler group, called “Solnyshko" (loosely translated as “Sunshine”). The aim of this group was to create a Russian speaking environment for their young children and help them in learning the Russian language. The parent and toddler group is aimed at children from 1 to 3 years and operates all year around, excluding school holidays. The sessions include the staples of singing, dancing, nursery rhymes, puppet shows, crafts and sensory activities for the younger ones, as well as themed sessions aimed at expanding vocabulary of a particular topic of the week, basic numeracy and knowledge of the alphabet. Following growing demand and in response to a number of requests, the Committee decided to open a Saturday school for teaching Russian language to older children in more depth. Thus, in September 2013 Warrington Russian Language School “Solnyshko” opened its doors to older children. The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Warrington and accompanying dignitaries. "Solnyshko" has been expanding ever since and currently offers classes to children aged from 3 and 16 years. Classes are organised according to age and knowledge of the Russian language. The curriculum includes lessons of Russian language and literature, expanding vocabulary and music, preparing for Russian language GCSE exam. Our goal - creation of friendly Russian-speaking environment for children, helping them to learn the language, make friends and have fun. We are truly an international school, we unite people from different backgrounds and ethnic groups. The school holds regular “open lessons” and special children performances involving the school’s pupils, where parents have the opportunity to observe the development and success of their children. The Committee and school staff are tirelessly working on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the school, which is important not only for children, but also helps adults to develop and maintain social ties and support each other. The school has a system of seeking parents feedback - in addition to regular parent surveys through written questionnaires, parents are invited to write their comments and suggestions and drop them in the “suggestion box”, located next to the entrance. They are also encouraged to ask questions or make suggestions at any time. The Committee is always glad to welcome new volunteers, who wish to join the management of the school. All school staff are DBS is checked. School teachers have appropriate pedagogical education and experience of working with children. Classes are held each Saturday from 9.30 to 11:50. From 12:00 a selection of clubs start. "Solnyshko" is a not-for-profit organisation, registered with Warrington Borough Council. Families, who have two or more children attending "Solnyshko" are eligible to discounts. Anyone, who is struggling to pay school fees, is encouraged to talk to the school’s Committee, where arrangements could be considered. *** Given the momentum and public support Warrington Russian Language School has received during its temporary closure on 12th of March 2022, we work closely with Warrington Borough Council on two matters: 1. On preventing bullying of kids with links to Russia or Russian language at this difficult time. 2. Working together helping Ukrainian refugees to quickly and successfully integrate into the community by providing translation/interpreting, advice and free lessons in our language school (English, Russian and Ukrainian), as well as access to art/painting, craft, music band, football and other activities in Russian language (as you know, most people in Ukraine can speak Russian language). We have a small database of local people (as well as our own teachers) willing to give their free time to teach various subjects and translate as necessary for the Ukrainian refugees. We also work closely with the community and can propose and host "tea and advice" meet up events in various locations. The temporary closure of our classes on 12th of March was very tough for everyone at Russian Language School "Solnyshko" (parents, pupils, teachers). We were so glad, however, to receive such overwhelming support from local community and happy it's behind us now. We look forward to even closer links to the wider community, St Wilfrids Primary School and Warrington Borough Council.

Gorsefield Primary School is a large, urban community primary school, serving the area of Radcliffe (Bury, Manchester). The school was sponsored by Forward as One CE Academy Trust in April 2015. Gorsefield’s mission is to INSPIRE, CHALLENGE, EXCEL: to inspire and challenge all children and adults to excel in everything they do. The two-form entry school is situated in an area of very high deprivation, so children enter the school with very low socio-economic status and significant life challenges to be overcome. Mobility is extremely high. There are currently 23 different languages spoken at Gorsefield. The proportion of pupils who are disadvantaged is significantly higher than the national average, as is the proportion of pupils with an education, health and care plan (EHCP). The school is a UNICEF Rights Respecting (Silver) school. Gorsefield Primary School provides an environment in which all children and adults, including the community, are able to flourish socially, emotionally and academically.
