I started my creative career as a painter and graduated in 1987 from Coventry (Lanchester) Polytechnic. My main interest was painting murals and I was keen from the outset that art I created for public sites should involve the people who share that environment. I went on to paint a number of large murals and worked as a freelance artist until 1999, when I began working for a local authority. From 1992 I worked as a Community Arts project manager for an artists' co-operative and then for 15 years with two local authorities as an Arts Development officer, developing and managing festivals, community events and public arts projects. At the same time I continued my creative practice and exhibited annually with Open Up Sheffield and other similar events.

About Us The City of Sheffield Diving Club was established in the early 1980’s at its former home ‘Sheaf Valley Baths’, officially opened in November 1972. In 1991, the Club relocated to Ponds Forge Sports International Centre which opened on the site where Sheaf Valley pool stood. Ponds Forge hosts regional, national and international diving competitions and camps and is extremely proud to have hosted a leg of the FINA International Diving World Series in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. The training environment is one of the biggest 10 metre venues in Britain, with two dry-diving areas, an air track and a unique tailor-made diving trampoline. The diving pool has the only 1 metre overhead wet harness in the Great Britain and the most amount of diving springboards in the UK.

Wildlings & Wellbeing CIC aims to reduce social isolation and improve mental well-being through nature connection and social engagement, by providing accessible and inclusive outdoor sessions at several locations throughout the Doncaster borough. We encourage Doncaster residents to get outdoors in all weathers and improve physical development whilst learning transferable life skills. We provide after school and extracurricular activities for children and young people and are a registered destination for Children’s University. Our nurture and well-being sessions are for personal and spiritual development. Our team of graduate professionals have backgrounds in child development, teaching, nursing, well-being and holistic therapies and youth work. Working in a natural environment helps to create a holistic approach to learning and development. Attendees will develop their physical, social and emotional needs through a person-centred long-term educational journey, improving confidence and well-being. Wildlings will be working closely with the safer communities teams and family hubs across Doncaster, in addition to other local community organisations and charities. Adult well-being sessions are also available, to meet up, have a chat around the campfire and learn new skills for personal development.

To provide a means by which the view, contributions and professional knowledge and skills of University Engineers can be communicated to AUDE and appropriate University and Professional Institutions. The Sapphire Project Organisation is an exciting new modern-day service for adults age 18 and over living with a learning disability. We want to understand what people want from their support, and to make sure that families and friends know how we will help them to make it happen. We offer a unique learning environment for our service users and although support needs may differ, we know that with the right support, people with learning disabilities can live full and meaningful lives. Aims Our aim is for service users to develop competence, respect, dignity, responsibility, independence and to promote their inclusion within the local working community. Working closely with service users we aim to find out what their passions are and wherever possible assist with overcoming challenges and removing barriers in order to enable them to live more fulfilling lives. What we offer Service users are offered the opportunity to develop transferable work skills, enterprise skills, independence skills, practical skills and social skills all within a variety of settings while being supported by qualified staff. Our project includes a café, a licensed bar and a kitchen garden all of which is open to the general public. We also offer a opportunities to develop general maintenance and wood working skills. Service users also have the opportunity to carry out a number of routine domestic tasks to help develop their independent living skills. These include, planning and shopping, cooking meals, basic housekeeping, getting out and about in the community and residential experiences. We support people in developing work and independence skills whilst having fun and making friends. Our aim is to break down barriers and to promote inclusion within the local community. What Makes Us Unique? We want to offer people the chance to learn valuable life skills along with work skills and our base at Hillsborough Arena provides us with numerous opportunities to achieve this objective. We offer an attractive, non-institutional environment with a team of committed staff with a very low rate of staff turnover, so people can develop strong, beneficial relationships over many years. We also offer a dedicated key worker to overlook and support the needs of both the service user along with the parent/carers. We want to understand what people want from their support, and make sure that families and friends know how we will help them to make it happen.
