Legal Training CoursesCILEX Law School has been delivering high-quality education and training to aspiring and experienced legal professionals for nearly 40 years. We support at least 3,000 learners in developing their skills and expertise every year, including through our award-winning legal apprenticeships, which have been available since the scheme’s inception in 2013. Most of our learners are in full-time roles either in the legal sector or in organisations with departments requiring legal expertise. Over 1,000 organisations are currently sponsoring their staff members through our distance and blended-learning courses. We were established in 1983 to deliver distance-learning courses to professionals wishing to gain legal CILEX qualifications while continuing to work. Since then we have expanded our range of qualifications to include law at all levels but have always remained a specialist blended-learning law school. Many of our students are already employed in the legal environment and are using our training to improve their prospects. They are often supported by their employers and we have a strong relationship with training managers to ensure that the education we provide is matched to business needs.

Transactional Analysis Programmes Our webinars are run as interactive workshops online – you can talk to the trainer – you are NOT muted and NOT restricted to asking questions in writing. Because they are online, they are also international and inter-cultural. And they are kinder to the environment. We have been running them since 2015. You can also avoid the traps of TA training – so many TA students begin and drop out, especially from the international processes that take several years before you get any accreditation. With us, you can book for topics that interest you now and have your attendances credited later if you decide you want to get a qualification. Exhibitions... The Art of Grieving exhibitions enable artists working in any medium to share work related to this issue. This coming together of artist and audience generates new and important human connections around a shared desire to explore the subject of grief and loss. Workshops... The Art of Grieving workshops offer the opportunity to come to a supportive environment to learn new art techniques and create a piece of work either in memory of a loved one, or in contemplation of a loss. The first workshops were held in September/October 2018 and proved to be a great success. Sadly, Covid-19 prevented the workshops planned for Autumn 2020 from going ahead. Shared creativity... The sharing of artwork with an audience can be a valuable part of the bereavement process and encourages communication with those impacted by their work. However, the Art of Grieving is not just for artists. The aim of our exhibitions and workshops is to spark conversation and encourage openness; we hope those who attend will reflect on the creative works and be empowered to speak to others about their thoughts and experiences.
