As Headteacher I seek to lead the school with this at the heart and ask students to respect themselves, others and the environment. Our students gain excellent examination results in both GCSE and across the Sixth Form. In our most recent inspection Ofsted again rated the school as “good”. Equally, the school is very proud of the way it has achieved these outcomes and the rounded education it offers to its students. We recognise our place in the community and are a key part of the partnership, Kingsbury Schools Together with our local primary schools and the Village (special) School. A great school is a combination of different things. We are equally proud of the many opportunities we provide for our students beyond the curriculum and how we develop students as individuals ready for adult life. Our aim is to develop in all of our students the love of learning, intellectual curiosity, skills and qualities of character needed to become successful, happy and engaged members of society. We are the UK’s professional body for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CRS). Our mission is to help individuals and organisations be brilliant at CRS. Wexham is a highly regarded and successful non-selective 11 - 19 school. The School’s latest Ofsted inspection, November 2017, judged the school to be GOOD in all areas and for overall effectiveness. The school is popular and currently expanding. In 2019 we welcomed our largest Year 7 cohort to the school for many years. Our location on the edge of Slough means our school has a green and spacious campus feeling. In November 2018 we moved into our new multimillion pound ‘Woodside’ Building. This is a major investment by Slough Borough Council as part of its ambitious school expansion programme. We now have 29 brand new classrooms housing Humanities, English, MFL and our SEN departments. In addition a new student services area was provided and at the very heart of the school a new Library, including additional Sixth Form study areas. Historically the School was designated as a ‘Sports College’. Although such designations have now ceased, sport continues to be a focus point of the school and there is considerable success at both local and regional level. High levels of participation in PE and Sport builds resilience and confidence in our students which allows academic success to flourish. The School has well developed partnerships across the Local Authority and community where we lead on PE through the Slough Schools Sports Network based at Wexham. We are currently one of four schools in Slough piloting the ‘Health Champions’ initiative and we also jointly co-host the Borough’s PSCHE network. We are an enhanced partner School to Brunel University. We are the Youth Sport Trust’s Lead Inclusion School for Berkshire. Our recent survey of 369 parents found that 97% agree that: Their child is happy at Wexham Their child feels safe at Wexham. Their child is well looked after at Wexham. 96% of parents say that Wexham is well led and managed and 95% agree that their child is taught well. Most importantly 97% of parents would recommend Wexham to another parent. A key ingredient of our success has been the priority placed on creating an environment in which both students and staff have the confidence to flourish. Great schools, that demonstrate continuous or sustained improvement, are built on a foundation of highly qualified and committed staff. In 2017 Ofsted found that ‘staff morale was high’ and ‘emotional and practical kindness drives the school’s care for all its pupils and students.’ These two features allow both students and staff to thrive.

The Pembrokeshire WI is a very active and dynamic WI Federation with 51 WI groups and over 1100 members. Our WI groups span the whole of the county's geography - from Saundersfoot, in the South, to St Dogmaels, in the North and the Preseli Hills, to the East. Wherever you live, in Pembrokeshire, there will (without doubt!) be a WI that you can join, just down the road from you! Many of our members also like to join several Wis – it just makes 'getting to know new friends' even better and, of course, means getting involved in so many and varied activities! The Pembrokeshire Federation was formed in 1921 - therefore, in 2021 we will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary. At the moment, our Federation and all of our WIs are busy planning for 'our Big Year'! In addition, in 2021, we will be hosting the NFWI Wales Conference, in April, 2021. The meetings, across our county, are all so varied – we are so lucky to have so many different groups – those that meet in the daytime, those that meet in the evening. We also have a great variety of groups with a big mix of ages as well as some that are slightly younger versus those that are slightly older. Whoever you are and whatever you like to do, you can guarantee that you will find a WI that suits you! We own our own House in the county town of Haverfordwest (WI house) which is open to members on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3pm – all our members are welcome to pop in and have a catch up and chat with a Board Of Trustee member – between those hours there is always someone there to welcome you! We use this house for meetings as well as hiring it out for the local community to use for day schools, educational course and seminars. We are fortunate to have a variety of sub-committees which organise the events both within Pembrokeshire and beyond – these include Sports & Leisure, Home Crafts, Membership & Community & Environment. We publish a monthly newsletter, which keeps WI members informed of all future events and enables groups to share information, across the county, too! Quite simply, Pembrokeshire, with all its beautiful landscapes and gentle pace of life, is blessed with having a WI Federation that is so friendly, dynamic and so welcoming no matter who you are, what your age or what your beliefs are – give it a try, you'll just find so many friends along the way!

An exclusive and independent rehab centre for the treatment of addictions and associated mental health issues The Haynes Clinic is a private rehabilitation centre for the treatment of alcohol, gambling and drug addiction. Drug addiction encompasses all so-called ‘recreational’ drugs (cocaine, ketamin, GBL, GHB, heroin and cannabis, for example). It also includes prescription medication for those with concerns about their use of drugs such as codeine, diazepam and other benzodiazepines, pregabalin, gabapentin and sleeping tablets. The centre provides detox and counselling with a view to you becoming entirely abstinent from alcohol and drugs. The counselling will also cover how to deal with stress, anxiety and depression – feelings that are often associated with addiction and other compulsive behaviours. Most of the rehab treatment is focused around group therapy as this has been proven to be most effective in helping addicts and alcoholics into recovery. There will also be some one to one counselling to cover individual goals and anything of particular sensitivity. All clients at The Haynes Clinic will have a consultation with our consultant psychiatrist on admission. She will prescribe any detox medication required and oversee your medical needs during your stay. Your stay here can be entirely private without it being revealed to your own GP and being on your medical notes – or we can liaise with your GP if you prefer. If we need to be in touch with your GP – or any other professional outside the confines of the treatment centre – this will always be with your consent. We also involve your family and those closest to you in your treatment. We ask the people who care about you to tell us about your behaviour and how it has affected them. We also offer them family counselling if they need support as a result of your addiction. The treatment centre is located in a tranquil, rural setting in Bedfordshire. We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible while getting you well. All clients at the centre have their own bedrooms in a home comfort setting. Some have en suite facilities. All are good sized well appointed rooms with a double bed. We take account of your choices when ordering in the food for your stay though once you are feeling physically better, your rehab experience will include taking on responsibilities such as helping to prepare meals and keeping your environment clean and tidy. Some people need to relearn these skills; others can share their experience, helping their peers to learn – which itself boosts self-esteem.

Hello!! My name is Muge and I am the founder of My Breathing Path! I was born in Istanbul, Turkey and I lived there until 2018. I was working in the Turkish finance industry for more than 10 years and during that time I was suffering from an advanced hernia in my neck. Working in a high stress environment and dealing with lots of problems at the same time, made me a super-achiever. I first came across breathwork in a workshop in 2010. It was extremely powerful but also it was completely different to the other techniques that I had tried before. As I continued to go to the sessions, it helped me to understand my behaviour as a perfectionist and its subsequent consequences for my life, the hernia and my unbalanced relationship with my family, friends and colleagues. After experiencing healing and transformation myself, I decided to become a facilitator. Since 2014, I have been working in the field of Transformational Breath as a Certified Transformational Breath Facilitator in private sessions, workshops and seminars while I continued to work in my finance career. I have experience in working with a wide variety of people – each possessing their own set of needs and goals. My further qualifications, Basic DNA Theta Healing Practitioner and Reiki II Certification are used in conjunction with Transformational Breath sessions to help people reach their potential and achieve their goals. Life is a combination of different journeys and within my new journey in the UK, I look forward to sharing my experiences through transformational breathing sessions with others, who want to discover more about themselves with transformation in their life, increase their self-awareness and live a healthier lifestyle.
