Our Parklife Community Interest Company (CIC) is a social enterprise on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park designed to help deliver the legacy of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our Parklife was founded in 2014 when Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park reopened. Its purpose is to connect local people to the Park through employment, training and volunteering. It’s a Community Interest Company (CIC) that was set up as part of the Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) contract on the Park with the specific task of involving local people in the Park through the management of the parklands and venues. As a CIC Our Parklife is a not for profit company – any surpluses generated will be reinvested into our social purpose.

Learning Through the Arts (LTTA), is a social enterprise which works within the community to promote learning, creativity and skills development through the Arts. Learning Through the Arts promotes a culture of life long learning. We seek to develop, nurture creative talents by providing training, organising workshops using all forms of creative arts as medium of instruction. Our workshops cater for adults and young people, and are run in a small friendly group which allows participants to learn at their own pace, but most of all allows them to explore the arts whilst making new friends and developing social skills. Most of our work is project based and therefore allows for flexibility in participation and meeting individual needs.

It was started in 2008 by Nicky Forsythe, an Accredited Psychotherapist, to teach people an evidence-based method for therapeutic talking. It is as effective as therapy. We are funded by the NHS in Islington, Camden Giving in Camden, and other funders. That means we are able to offer most of what we do to participants at no cost.Do you have enough people you can answer truthfully to? In today’s society, the answer is often ‘no’. We help people from the Cambridgeshire area to get online by teaching digital skills, and we then provide a range of courses to help people make the most of being online – including searching and applying for jobs, literacy and numeracy skills, shopping online, using Facebook and socialising online, contacting government and health services, leisure and healthy living – in fact, we will try to help you learn anything people want to do online! We specialise in helping disabled and disadvantaged people, but our services are open to all.
