WONDERHAUS was born out of a love of self expression, a way to decorate yourself. The designs are made to be worn boldly and courageously, as a statement of the wearer’s personality, independent, curious and adventurous. Julia uses laser cutting, heat forming, etching and engraving alongside traditional jewellery techniques to create all of her jewellery pieces. Each item is designed and made to order from her workshop/studio in Islington Mill, Salford. Julia also runs jewellery making workshops.

Bigbury Mint medal makers was formed in 1980 when David Holland started using his engraving skills to cut medal dies for a client, and wondered if he could make medals for himself. After some trial and error David began manufacturing high quality medal dies in his workshop and used these to strike beautiful medals for numerous local occasions and special events. Matthew Holland, joined his father in 1985, and after learning the medal making craft from his father over many years is currently Bigbury Mints Managing Director.

Dawn Meaden-Johnson _Founder and Directo With the Bespoke Jewellery Training Company I have created a unique business model that provides anyone with access to professional jewellery industry standard training outside of Further Education. I'm a graduate Silversmith of the prestigious School of Jewellery in Birmingham and I have a wide variety of experience over my career in different industry roles. After graduating I began a 10 year stint of experience working at Jewellery Retail sector giants Signet Group, initially working in jewellery sales and customer service, then moving into branch operations, export, marketing and merchandising via their HQ in Birmingham. From 2004-2014 I was back at the School of Jewellery Birmingham City University (BCU) as short courses/external training project manager, working with UK and International clients. For the past five years Dawn has been supporting Graduates and Designer Makers via Jewellery Business Mentoring. In 2017 The Bespoke Jewellery Training Company became an a graduate award sponsor at The School of Jewellery at Birmingham City University (BCU), where upon graduation two graduates per year are selected to receive a 9 month Graduate Jewellery Business Mentoring programme each, delivered by me. In 2022 I became a member of The Guild of Jewellery Designers, Ethical Good Practises Forum. We are working on a subject area of huge importance, and our forum is made up of industry volunteers with a wide range of experience, and our aim is to research, raise awareness and provide guidance to help Jewellers make informed choices for ethical good practise. Today my office at The Bespoke Jewellery Training Company is located near Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and our courses take place in many tutor studios all around the UK and online.

Linda Farquharson is a relief printmaker (Linocut) based in Highland Perthshire creating linocuts and wood engravings. Her work is infused with the outdoor world and inspiration is never far from her back door.Linda studied Illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, graduating B A (Hons) in 1986. She specialised in relief printmaking and continues to work primarily with lino printing and wood engraving. For many years she worked as a commercial artist based in Edinburgh, while also exhibiting her prints nationally. Commissions include W B Yeats’ Irish Fairy and Folk Tales (for The Folio Society 2007) and Sir Walter Scott’s The Lady of The Lake (for The Association for Scottish Literary Studies 2010). Now based in Highland Perthshire, her work remains infused with the outdoor world and inspiration is never very far from her back door. Among Linda’s most recent work is a series of linocut prints that include ‘The Tree of Life’, ‘Song of the Goddess’, ‘Nine maidens’, and ‘Earth Goddess’. These bold prints incorporate some of Linda’s favourite images – trees, flowers, animals and birds together with the female form, and her current preoccupation with Goddess mythology. Drawing on stories from the Welsh Mabinogion alongside the legendary Scottish ‘Cailleach’ (expressions of the different phases of womanhood from maiden to crone) these themes allude to tales of transformation and the point where humans and nature merge, bringing a powerful new dimension to her work.
