We are an online tutoring agency founded in 2020, specialising in connecting tutors who are interesting in teaching tailored lessons online, to students wanting to grow their academic skills. We are registered and based in the UK, but work internationally to connect English speaking tutors with domestic and international students, with a majority of our core business specialising with Chinese students. Age ranges for students can vary from 4 years old to mature students, with tailored lessons being from early foundation English, Mathematics or Science, to GCSE and University academic tuition, for example preparation for the Cambridge or IELTS exams. As our students, and often their parents, expect well prepared and taught online lessons, we aim to work with experienced and qualified tutors. This relates strongly to the quality of the teaching outcome for the student, but also for the continuing success for the tutor. The minimum academic requirements for a tutor interested in joining Meet My Tutors, are a bachelor's degree and more than 2 years of teaching experience, or tutors with internationally recognized language teaching qualifications such as TEFL, TESOL or QTS, and PGCE licenses. We aim to bring quality tuition to online students, and connect tutors with rewarding teaching opportunities, while continuing to grow our business, features and support for our students and tutors.

We provide a diverse learning environment that offers direct support to help young people to develop transferable skills and explore potential employment or further training opportunities. YEP assists young people to help them make informed and positive decisions about their own future. We aim to provide young people with independent living skills, and this is achieved through pastoral support and a range of vocational and academic courses.

I am fortunate enough to be the Principal of Homefield College and am delighted that you have found your way to our website to explore the many opportunities that the College provides to support people with learning difficulties and / or disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Homefield College was founded in 1987 as a long-term residential provision for people with learning and communication difficulties. We have since expanded our offering with specialist further education and training, supporting both part-time and full-time day and residential students. The College now offers a range of individualised vocational education programmes based within local communities. All programmes are tailored to the needs of each individual with the starting point being that they feel safe in the environment that they are in. Once this is achieved it allows our staff to work with them to develop and improve their skills to enable them to live more independently once they leave the College. You will see on the website details of the activities that we provide which put together make up a study programme. Our education provision is based upon our belief that young people achieve through experience and this is reflected in the activities provided in our programmes. Students will undertake work experience and we hope that for some of them this will lead to a supported internship. Beyond the education provision, we also offer residential experiences for those who would like to further develop their independent living skills and this can often provide a period of respite for the student’s family. Homefield also provides a range of services for those who remain as part of our lifelong learning provision. These include: long-term residential care, supported work experiences, day services and community enterprises.
