Proudly celebrating 60 years of engineering excellence, as a third-generation
owned and operated company. Farrat has a rich and successful heritage as a UK
engineer and manufacturing company, dating back to 1959. We started out
manufacturing machine tools and wedge levelling mounts for clients in the
industrial sector – working primarily with machine applications, such as power
presses, mills and grinders. However, as our capabilities, experience and
knowledge advanced we quickly expanded manufacturing operations and introduced
anti-vibration materials into the Farrat portfolio. This enhanced our
engineering of vibration isolation systems, allowing Farrat to enter the
construction and power generation markets as specialists in the field of not
just vibration, but also acoustics and thermal bridging. After several years of
organic growth and investment into all areas of the business, we now export a
wide and varied portfolio of high-performance vibration, acoustic and thermal
isolation solutions worldwide through a growing network of global distributors.
