Welcome to CPR Pensacola and CPR Mississippi! We are proud to be your source for all your BLS, ACLS, PALS, and First Aid/CPR training needs. Based in Pensacola, FL and with locations throughout the Southeast we can help you meet your training requirements. We are pleased to offer a variety of AHA (American Heart Association) courses at all of our locations in both Instructor-Led (Classroom) and Blended Learning formats. We are also an AHA Training Center and offer open-enrollment Instructor Courses several times a year. Learn more about our classes here! Classroom-based Courses Heartsaver Courses – Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. Heartsaver can be completed as CPR/AED only, First Aid only, First Aid and CPR/AED, or Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED. This course is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. This course uses AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider – BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.

After the purchase of a 1958 Pontiac hearse for $250, Enterprise Rescue Squad answered its first call in 1963. Seven members of the community trained in American Red Cross First Aid volunteered to staff the fledgling service which was headquartered on Main Street by Glover Avenue. Over time the service grew and acquired new ambulances and better equipment. In 1981 Dr. Andy Kirk put together the Service’s first structured Emergency Medical curriculum and “attendants” became EMT’s providing much better care for the community. As our ranks grew, we began to see the need for a new facility. In 1994 after much fund raising and hard work, Enterprise Rescue moved to our current location at 205 W. Lee Street. Our station includes a dayroom, kitchen, communications room, sleeping quarters, and a bay that houses 4 ambulances and a service lift. As the City of Enterprise grew and the demand for Emergency Medical Services increased, it became obvious that the change from volunteer to paid service was neccesary. In 1997 Enterprise Rescue Squad became Enterprise Rescue, Inc. Now with almost 20 years as a paid system, Enterprise Rescue has over 40 employees and 7 ambulances. We currently average over 11000 calls a year and operate three 24/7 ambulances and one day ambulance in Enterprise as well as one 24/7 ambulance and one day ambulance in Elba. With the addition of a separate administration and training building at 519 E. Lee Street, Enterprise Rescue has become a regional training facility for various programs and agencies. We hold over 100 classes a year ranging from basic first aid and CPR to critical care and specialty courses for advanced medical providers. Enterprise Rescue strives to provide the very best medical care for our coverage area. We are constantly finding ways to improve the quality of our services. From the newest state-of-the-art medical equipment and vehicles to ongoing training in the latest developments in emergency medicine, we will continue to serve our community with professionalism and pride.

For clients, families, nurses, carers, personal assistants and teaching staff, to enable safe community complex care at home.  We also deliver regulated qualifications through an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual, and courses recognised on the Regulated Qualifications Framework that focus on adult, child and infant first aid.  We also deliver other courses like Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at Work, Immediate Life Support and others designed specifically for workplaces, schools and clubs. In addition we can create tailored training courses with bespoke lesson plans, training and competencies where required, that are of an exceptionally high standard and are specific to the individual needs of the client, family, staff, workplace or educational setting.

The Pod Project is a community project started in a response to a growing need to do something to feel empowered rather than hopeless in the face of the climate emergency. The Pod Project’s aim is to is create a community of people who want to act now, share creative solutions, teach each other and live healthier more sustainable lives. We want to join the growing movement of community-based initiatives (CBI’s) working across Europe and the world to help people lead more sustainable lives. CBI’s play a significant part in reducing carbon use but also in the wider context, raising awareness, social cohesion, the creation of local livelihoods and retention of wealth in local economies and the feelings of empowerment that can come through working together to bring about change. Through research and conversation, we have identified three key areas we want to focus upon. These are education, wellbeing and sustainability in the context of the individual, the community and the environment. It is evident that many people feel isolated and powerless in regard to finding solutions for these issues. It is our aim to deliver a programme of events under these headings. Empowering people to thrive the old saying goes “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”

Remote First Aid is dedicated to delivering top-notch first aid training and prehospital care qualifications in a variety of settings, including urban, wilderness, and hostile environments. Our primary goal is to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively to emergency situations when professional medical help may be delayed or inaccessible. In our urban first aid courses, we emphasise practical skills that are essential for handling emergencies in cities or densely populated areas. Participants learn techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound management, fracture immobilization, and basic life support. Our experienced instructors ensure that students gain confidence in their abilities to provide immediate assistance during critical moments.

Excellent admin staff, from helping you book the course, to getting out confirmations making sure the trainer has everything they need (and know where they are going) and making sure you get the post course paperwork, certificates and follow up you require. Today we have 4 directors (all Bodsworth’s!) backed up with office admin staff and trainers who all work together to deliver this excellent service. All of our instructors are professionally qualified and regularly monitored.
