We are a busy but friendly school that sits on the edge of Findern village in Derbyshire, funded by the Local Authority. We are a forest school and offer all learners the opportunity to grow and develop life long skills through hands-on learning experiences. Looking after the environment and preparing children to be responsible adults is a key part of what we do and we are proud to have ECO school status.
Seventeen Nineteen gives people a sense of place and the freedom for contemplation. We believe in the power of the past to stimulate the future – remembering where you have come from to make you more connected and give you the confidence to create. With a range of uses, we give our visitors the opportunity to roam, learn and explore. We welcome young creatives, students, history enthusiasts, musicians and everyone else in need of a little space of their own.
