We are a mixed secondary school, teaching students from Years 7 to 13, ages 11 to 18, from Moulton and the surrounding area. The Association of Independent Personal Trainers was born out of the Wellbeing Fitness Education Centre which licenses owners of fitness facilities to offer high-quality Level 3 Personal Training Diplomas. In order to run such courses, it has to be demonstrated that they will be of the highest standard and taught by experienced teachers who are actually in the industry delivering personal training sessions to real clients on a daily basis. This was in response to the many sub-standard courses offered cheaply online where there is little to no face-to-face contact and where the teaching is almost all theoretical with maybe a practical examination at the end.

Developing U is a specialist training provider primarily located in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, with a second training facility based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. We offer a wide range of training options, from bespoke and online courses, to apprenticeship programmes, traineeships and workshops. As a family, we have over 15 years experience of hosting international students, so we know what they need ... and there is very little that we haven’t seen or done in that period. We have two children in private education in the UK, so we understand the pressures and pleasures that this brings. Our children love having students to stay and enjoy interacting with them and they often become firm friends. Many students stay in touch, maintaining contact even when they have gone onto university or have found employment. Wherever possible, we arrange for students to be hosted by families close to where they are studying. This means that they know the local area well and can tailor any activities to meet your child’s needs. It also cuts down on travelling time and expense, and enhances the hosting experience. We ensure that all out guardianship families are fully vetted and comply with UK legislation. We carry out regular personal visits and we are always contactable should an issue arise with the child or the family.

Founded as a charitable company in 2007, the primary objective of SIEVEMK is to address the problem of educational underachievement among young people, particularly those of black and minority ethnic descent, in the Buckinghamshire locale. SIEVEMK develops accessible and cost-effective programmes and provides opportunities for young people to help them acquire the employability skills and/or qualifications required for further and higher education and career advancement. SMK is run by a 5-member Board of Trustees, 2 of whom were beneficiaries of our programmes who went on to achieve A-Levels and degrees at university, and a management team comprising of the CEO, Head of Pastoral Care, Project Director and the Admin and Finance Team. We also have ten tutors and between six and ten volunteers across each year to support us with the programmes we offer. The team members share a passion for the work we do in supporting children, young people, and families, and have a wide range of experiences and skills to contribute to our organisation.
