Pauline and her husband Steve opened their first Academy when they couldn't find anything that ticked all the boxes for their son, Charlie. They wanted to be able to provide performing arts tuition that was enjoyable, fun and would build children’s confidence. More importantly, they wanted to help young people to pursue their life's dreams, whatever those dreams may be, using drama to help children realise their potential and blossom into confident young people. To Pauline and Steve, the performing arts is more than just singing and acting and they wanted to reflect that at PQA. They therefore created a performing arts school that covers the entire arts spectrum, including lessons in Comedy, Drama and of course Film & TV. When 130 students turned up for the opening of the first PQA Academy, they knew they were onto something! Over 15 years later, PQA has more than 200 Academies nationwide and is the largest provider of Film & TV education for young people in the UK.

Funded by Wycombe District Council at a cost of more than half a million pounds and built on land owned by Buckinghamshire County Council, construction of the Lane End Youth & Community Centre commenced in July 2003. The Centre was officially opened in January 2004. The Centre is a modern, bright building offering facilities for recreation, sport, entertainment, education and information. It is also the ideal choice for PRIVATE HIRE. We have been successful in attracting numerous events – a regular youth club, dog training classes, fitness classes, health screening, educational activities including a computer class for beginners, private parties and even wedding receptions. Essentially, the Centre is provided for the benefit of all members of the community, with a focus on young people. The Community Centre is a multi-functional building which is highly adaptable and can cater for the needs of a wide spectrum of local residents. The building is also fully wheelchair accessible.

Global Connection Learning Center (GCLC) is a 501c3 nonprofit daycare center providing full-time care for children ages eight weeks to five years. Though our center is open to the general public, we have a special focus on helping teen moms. As long as they remain in school, receive passing grades, have no disciplinary issues, and attend weekly parenting classes then teenage mothers do not have pay any fees. Our founder and director, Nancy Sylvester, was inspired to open GCLC upon retiring after 35 years as a public school counselor. Over the years, she met a staggering number of teen moms who were unable to graduate high school, despite very much wanting to continue their education. As young mothers, they simply didn't have the time or the resources. Nancy wanted to change that. Today, our program offers compassionate, quality care for little ones that enables their mothers to better themselves. Our daycare is staffed with highly experienced caregivers who treat each and every student as their own. Additionally, our team receives annual professional development sessions designed to help them prepare children for kindergarten.

(ISFA) is affiliated to The Football Association and is recognised by The FA as the body responsible for the development of the game in the independent sector. ISFA’s ethos is that of an educational organisation. It aims to create opportunities for children within the sector by organising and encouraging competitions, representative teams and development opportunities as well as providing coaching courses and conferences for staff. ISFA believes strongly in football as a vehicle for education and in the importance of Respect and Fair Play. ISFA is a small organisation, with four members of staff and limited financial resources. Consequently, ISFA is heavily dependent on volunteer teachers to deliver its programme; there must therefore necessarily be limitations on what can be delivered, and the Association must set realistic targets. ISFA believes its role is to provide quality competitions, representative football, etc., and aims to encourage and assist its member schools to provide the quantity in terms of participation through regional tournaments, block friendly fixtures, internal school football, etc.

After gaining her Arts Degree from Sheffield City Polytechnic, Janet set up her silversmithing business in London where she was based for ten years. She moved to Berkshire where she has stayed, initially becoming Jeweller in Residence at South Hill Park Arts Centre and now teaching her own classes in Woodley. She has been making and teaching jewellery for over 40 years and has had the pleasure of seeing her students enjoy learning about jewellery making and some of her students have chosen to go on to run their own jewellery business. Her designs concentrate on form and technique. Flow, texture and carving informs most of her work. She likes her work to be timeless, enhance the body and come to life when worn by the owner. Her work continues to be exhibited here in Britain and abroad, has featured in a variety of publications including Vogue and is part of the contemporary jewellery collection at the Dallas Museum of Art, USA.
