Titus Tutors was founded by Karen Saxe who has over twenty years of experience as a certified Connecticut and Massachusetts teacher. She received a BA in Elementary Education from Simmons University and a MA Education with a concentration in Reading and Language Arts from the University of Saint Joseph. Karen has experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students. She has held a variety of positions while at Rumsey Hall, including lead third-grade teacher, directing the Lower School Afternoon Enrichment Program, teaching Language Skills, and is currently English Department Chair for grades 6-9. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is head of the seventh and eighth-grade girls dorm and coaches soccer and tennis. Karen has extensive training and experience in Orton Gillingham, the Wilson Reading System, and was an early adopter of the distance learning format in ESL (English as a Second Language) for students around the world.

I have NHS experience and I always try to keep myself up-to-date on the latest guidelines, protocols and research projects. I have also contributed to BBC World on medical news, nutrition and sports medicine.
