0 Comments I founded The Local Teachers Ltd in 2015, with the vision to make education more accessible and convenient locally. At the Local Teachers, we helped over 25,000 students in the last 8 years to boost their grades and help them go to their desired universities, we have fostered partnerships with 13 schools in London and 3 councils to help them support pupils with our intervention tuition programs in sciences, Mathematics and English. With that same vision and passion, I have founded Ezy Edtech Ltd to purchase assets as part of the liquidation of EzyEducation Ltd via a CVL to make quality education more accessible in different ways. That purchase transfers the rights of the EzyEducation website, courses, and high-quality book stocks of 10,000 with a commercial value of £5-10 per book to Ezy Edtech Ltd. The goodwill and support of ex EzyEducation employees has also been secured. Moreover, we have renewed all suppliers’ contracts such as the Zapper app, which makes more accessible our revision pocket booklets by pulling the interactive videos lessons, and quizzes from our platform to iOS and Android devices which increasingly more and more students are relying on for their revision routines. The EzyEducation platform and customer relationships benefited from £2.5m of investment and reinvested earnings. This means that Ezy Edtech bypasses the development costs usually associated with start-ups. The platform is currently used by over 150 school users (subscriptions of £200,000 in 2019 and £130,000 during 2021 (revenue decreased due to COVID19 exam cancellations). Although EzyEducation Ltd ceased trading on 14/12/2021 the platform has remained in use through this period with zero disruption for customers. Over this period, we had 188,543 sessions, 90,103 users, and 3.25 million hits. This continuation of user engagement is a clear indication of the success we can build on moving forward. With that strong foundation for success, here are our short-term objectives. At the present our most important objective is to secure renewals for the schools Minimise the service disruptions - renew contracts for all our suppliers and staff where possible. Improve our resources wherever necessary - such as creating more resources to make teachers’ life easier - in doing so, we will be complementing with PowerPoints lectures with the video lessons on the platform – so that teachers do not spend so much time and resources in creating lesson plans but rather focus on delivering and

In 2016, Brunel celebrated 50 years as a university. However, our history can be traced back much further to 1798 through our predecessor colleges of Borough Road College, Maria Grey College, Shoreditch College and the West London Institute of Higher Education and as well as through Acton Technical College then Brunel College. Our rise since 1966 has been impressive and our reputation grows year on year. Now a university of 12,746 students – 3,309 students engaged in postgraduate and research study – our special approach is to combine academic rigour with the practical, entrepreneurial and imaginative approach pioneered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The decision to be named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel was taken after much discussion. Rather than name the new College after a location, Dr Topping, the first Vice Chancellor of Brunel University (and former Principal of Brunel College) pleaded that the name should be a well-known person preferably an engineer or scientist associated in some way with Middlesex or Acton. Agreement was reached in March 1957 that person would be Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Isambard Kingdom Brunel (1806-1859) is one of the great British engineers of the 19th century. Isambard was born into an industrious family in 1806, with his mother Sophia Kingdom working for the Royal Navy and father Marc Brunel being a prominent French engineer. Isambard took on formal training as an engineer and went on to build twenty-five railways lines, over a hundred bridges, including five suspension bridges, eight pier and dock systems, three ships and a pre-fabricated army field hospital.To add to this he was a keen social engineer, building housing estates, churches and hospitals. We promote education in oncological imaging and stimulate research in the study of human tumour behaviour, bringing together radiologists with an interest in oncological imaging for the exchange of ideas, and to organise scientific meetings, multicentre research studies and postgraduate courses within the field. The Society online journal Cancer Imaging , is an open access, peer-reviewed journal featuring original articles and reviews written by international experts on the new developments, techniques and latest research into oncological imaging. Membership is open to everyone with an interest in the field and includes discounted registration fees for all ICIS Annual Teaching Courses and ICIS Interactive one-day workshops. Fellowship of the Society is by nomination and election. Fellowship includes physicians who have made a significant contribution to oncological imaging and are involved or interested in the clinical practice, teaching and research of cancer radiology. The International Cancer Imaging Society prides itself in being diversely comprised of and serving individuals of many nations, ethnicity, gender identity, economic and societal status. The inclusive nature of our membership strengthens our ability to educate others in an effort to provide optimal imaging care to peoples of all ages around the world.

Ealing Chinese School has been established for forty-three years. As an overseas model Chinese school and Chinese Proficiency Test Centre, all teachers in our school have undergone professional training and most teachers have more than five years of teaching experience. The school uses “Zhongwen” as the main textbook and “Easy Steps to Chinese” as the supporting textbook. GCSE and A level classes use local Examination course books. Since the epidemic, we have been using Zoom and Google Classroom. All teachers are proficient in online teaching. Child poverty in the UK There were 4.3 million children living in poverty in the UK in 2019/20* In a classroom of 30 children, 9 were living in poverty** Children are the group of the population most likely to be in poverty*** Child poverty has been rising in both absolute and relative terms for nearly a decade*** Children in poverty have to fight harder for their futures. It has serious implications for their academic attainment, their social networks and their mental health. Our work is rooted in investing in those futures.
