We have an exceptional teaching programme that has been carefully developed from the countless years of professional practice and teaching experience teachers attribute to the school. Our students don't just focus on technique and practical training, we know the fundamental importance of theoretical and subject knowledge. An in depth understanding of a subject and it's industry will have a positive benefit to a students learning and future achievements. Core subjects taught at Nouveau follow the IDTA teaching syllabus and will require students to take graded examinations two or three times a year. We maintain a 100% pass rate across all examined subjects. Every child should have the opportunity to dance and perform. Recreational lessons offer fun, healthy early learning, introducing students to an exciting interest and great opportunities. Derbyshire Mind provide a range of advocacy and community mental wellbeing services designed to support people with mental health problems as well as the wider population. Advocacy Services: Our Community and Specialist Advocacy services provide support for Derbyshire residents to have their voice heard when important decisions are being made about their lives or to overcome issues that are impacting on their health and wellbeing. We also provide independent advocacy support for Derbyshire residents who wish to make a complaint about their NHS care or treatment, including any complaint against an organisation or service funded by the NHS. Enjoying Derbyshire: ‘Enjoying Derbyshire’ is our name for our community mental wellbeing programme comprising of groups and activities that have the common goal of improving mental wellbeing by boosting mood, reducing loneliness and isolation, and creating meaningful connections between people in Derbyshire. Active Monitoring: Active Monitoring is our guided self-help service for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems. Currently the Derbyshire Mind Active Monitoring service is being delivered from three GP practices across Derbyshire: Crich, Ripley, and Horizon in Derby. MindSpace: Derbyshire Mind’s MindSpace meet-ups are supportive community groups in local parks that creates space for people to get together, get some fresh air, meet some new friends, and be listened to in a friendly and inclusive group. All MindSpace walks are supported by our fantastic Derbyshire Mind volunteers who are friendly, inclusive, welcoming and really great listeners. We listen without judgement and without trying to ‘fix’ or give advice.

Jackie and Terry Lawer run Capable Canines Cornwall. Terry has a fantastic wealth of knowledge in all things canine, having been involved in dog training for over thirty years. He and Jackie own three Border Collies and a Miniature American Shepherd. Jackie deals with all matters to do with running the business and its administration. She is an Agility Club Approved Instructor, as well as being a qualified teacher, who has taught in Secondary and Adult Education. Jackie currently competes with one of her collies in agility. Tarn is Grade 7: the highest grade achievable in UK. Tarn has competed at two UKA National Finals and Jackie has also competed at a KC ABC (anything but a collie) National Final with her crossbreed, Zeus, many years ago now! She is also bringing on a youngster, due to start competing in Grade 2 shortly. Terry competes with Exe in Grade 4. Both Jackie and Terry have been Agility Judges. Jackie is also a Scentwork UK Judge and Trial Manager, currently working Tarn at Level 5 and Dart at Level 2 in this discipline. Arena We are lucky enough to have the use of an excellent training venue in Shortlanesend. Access is really easy and only takes a few minutes from Truro in the south or the A30 in the north. The venue offers hard-standing for parking and a really large outdoor school. We are told it is 25 x 45 m but it seems even bigger! The surface is a sand and felt mix and stands up very well to all types of weather! As a result, the Air Force Academy Foundation (formerly the USAFA Endowment) will work actively to identify and to cultivate key relationships with current and potential Academy donors to support the superintendent's strategic priorities. We also believe that a foundation, singularly charged with the abiding stewardship of donated funds and constituted in such a way as to ensure the permanency and efficacy of the gift, is the most effective structure for providing this support to the Academy. As a result, the founders of the Air Force Academy Foundation chose to establish a new type of foundation and to memorialize a number of unique Founding Principles into the organizational bylaws. Founding Principles Our board of directors is stable and independent. The structure of the Air Force Academy Foundation is such that donors can have confidence that their gifts will be stewarded carefully and consistently over time by other donors.
