Hi I'm Hannah and have been quilting for nearly 10 years. I learnt to sew after my 3rd child was born whilst we lived overseas and I was looking for a creative outlet. I discovered Patchwork and Quilting and soon fell in love with the process, enjoying everything about making a quilt from start to finish. I now share that love with others in the hope they too may discover a new passion.  The Stitch and Run home Studio is located in Totley, Sheffield on the edge of the beautiful Peak District. I run 1:1 sessions in beginner Patchwork and Quilting and small classes of 3/4

I am a visual artist, formerly specialising in bespoke contemporary textile art. I spent some time travelling in India and Indonesia and I became deeply interested in mandalas. I learnt that the repetition, patterns, colours and the geometry were all aspects of mandalas which helped to take the spectator into a meditative space.
