Step2Skills Adult learning and employment support, formerly known as
Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service (HAFLS), runs a wide range of
quality and approved courses for adults aged 19+, aimed to help improve people’s
lives. We're funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and European
Social Fund to deliver community learning courses for adults, young people and
families across Hertfordshire. We subcontract with learning providers in
Hertfordshire to deliver some of these courses on our behalf. Those learning
providers are responsible for delivering courses to a high standard. We quality
monitor provision to ensure it meets the requirements of OFSTED and the

Courses we run are primarily low-cost in order to help improve the skills and
wellbeing of people living in Hertfordshire.
