1 day acupuncture and dry needling refresher Topics covered: Clinical reasoning for acupuncture and dry needling refresher Neck and headaches Trigger points for low back pain Heavenly star points Important trigger points for upper and lower limb conditions Courses taught by Justine Munur, 20+ years experienced in physiotherapy and dry needling/acupuncture, MSc in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. 3 hour theory and practical session covering important trigger points related to common lower limb conditions such as knee pain, plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. This course is available to those who have already completed a dry needling foundation course and wish to add acupuncture for pain relief to their toolbox. Only acupuncture points and clinical reasoning will be taught mostly within a western framework, but traditional Chinese medicine will be explained as well. This could also be beneficial to someone who wishes to return to using acupuncture, but has not practiced for some time. To successfully complete this course there will be a short practical test and a 2000 word case study to ensure that a sufficient level of competancy and understanding has been achieved to safely practice acupuncture.
