Billy Thomas HGV Driver Training is a small family-run company. It was
established in 1992 following a longing from Jackie (Billy’s wife) to do her
articulated lorry licence. They decided to train together with an instructor and
in the process found they both had natural HGV driving skills. Billy passed his
Advanced Driving Test and attained his RTITB Instructors licence and promptly
brought his first articulated lorry. Within a couple of months they took on a
rigid lorry shell and converted it themselves into a working horsebox enabling
Billy to offer rigid lorry courses.
