Drive Doctors was established in 2012 by Mark Johnston, a professional race
driver, motorsport instructor and automotive trainer who recognised a need for
an alternative style of driver training. Using his motorsport and automotive
experience on track Drive Doctors create exciting, informative, interactive
events and programmes to change the long-term attitude of drivers on the road.
Drive Doctors use like-minded professional drivers and instructors. The team are
enthusiastic and professional – hand-picked for their motorsport passion, road
safety knowledge, patience and communication skills – they deliver training and
events in a relaxed and informal way. In 2012, Drive Doctors launched the UK’s
National Road Safety Campaign “Drive it Home” and trained over 200 young drivers
in car control and how to be safer on the roads.
