Established in 2012 by Jill Martin Boualaxai and Damian Michael Malone, Look and
Draw runs a year round program of exciting and innovative art classes and
workshops from Wasps Artists Studios near Haymarket and monthly pop up events at
The Safari Lounge in Abbeyhill. Look and Draw classes are brought to you by a
group of like minded professional artists who are all passionate about the
visual arts and about taking the right approach to drawing and painting. The
majority of classes are tutored by Jill Martin Boualaxai. Other ad hoc tutors
with Look and Draw are Cat Bruce, Sarah Calmus, Lorna Johnson, Oana Stanciu &
Matthew Storstein . We provide a structured and supportive teaching environment
that aims to inspire and challenge. We encourage you to develop your own visual
language of mark making, and we work to equip you with the skills, knowledge and
theory to further your own art practice.
