We aim to diversify the Creative Sector. We achieve this by identifying, supporting and promoting non-traditional artists and filmmakers who might not otherwise consider a career in the sector. FILM: Through work with such organisations as Aik Saath and SWIPE, our Slough based YES programme provides free workshops in filmmaking open to all 11-25 year olds. ART: With the support of our Arts Council England partners HOME, we run quarterly free Meetups for all aspiring or professional artists aged 18+ alongside our new Arts Forum for leaders across Berkshire. Our clients ranging from BAFTA, BFI, Creative England, BBC, and Channel 4 contract us to devise and deliver regional and national outreach for their own training, recruitment and commissioning programmes. 2.TALENT DEVELOPMENT & PROMOTION Our goal is to develop the skills of a diverse talent pool and prepare each individual to progress on to successful paid employment in the creative industry. Through The Creative Collective, our talent development programme comprising a range of accredited and informal bespoke training workshops, as well as our one-to-one personalised Individual Progress Plan support, we ensure progress through networking, mentoring, accredited training as well as exclusive work placements, apprenticeships and connecting with funders. We have project funding from Arts Council England and work closely with NPO theatre company RIFCO. In film, our core partner (since 1999) is Pinewood Studios but we also regularly work with BFI, Screen Skills and Creative England . 3. CREATIVE & COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION From developing individual talent to supporting larger projects ranging from producing a first piece of art, to shooting your first drama, our focus is on producing projects that tell stories from new perspectives not currently seen in the mainstream media or art world. We co-develop, script, shoot and edit high-quality, emotive and engaging, cost-effective documentary, drama, animation and motion graphics and have a talent for connecting charitable and commercial clients. Through our ground breaking partnerships with companies like the BBC, Channel 4 and Disney, we continue to explore and build on new immersive content. We have developed new projects and ways of working through collaborations with global companies like SEGRO and innovative funders like The Rothschild Foundation.

Eleanor’s career path has been firmly rooted within the disciplines of Drama, Dance and Music. Having initially trained as a ballet dancer at the Royal Academy of Dance, London, under the instruction of June Mitchel, Eleanor went on to gain a degree in Music, specialising in the voice. Post degree, Eleanor’s work has taken her into the film industry, television productions, modelling, a singing residency in Mayfair and even a record deal. Equipping pupils with the skills to build self-concept through communication and expression became a driving force for Eleanor. She was among the first group of postgraduates to be awarded the Royal Academy of Dance’s Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies, and Eleanor is currently completing her MA Education (Drama). Alongside her pedagogical studies, Eleanor taught Drama, Dance and Musical Theatre at a further four independent schools in Ascot for over a decade. She and her wonderful team currently deliver the co-curricular Performing Arts provision at 7 schools and colleges within Surrey and Hampshire. “I have an immense passion for teaching and feel privileged to have such an enriching career. Through my teaching, I strive to make the studio a fully inclusive, inspirational environment in which students can develop and have their talents nurtured. Continued professional development is critical in the evolving world of performing arts education. I have been part of the Senior Leadership Team at Cox Green School since 2018 and I am delighted to have been appointed to lead the school forward, working in partnership with parents and carers. New Ashgate Gallery, a non-profit making trust, cultivates the pursuit of excellence in a marketplace environment, with support to emerging artists, by exhibiting work and through professional development. We promote the creative process for all communities through workshops, talks and outreach work. We provide an unparalleled resource in Farnham, Surrey and beyond. History In doing all this we have a direct line of continuity with our beginnings. Elizabeth Naydler, who founded the Gallery in 1959, had aspirations to bring quality art to Farnham, with the first provincial exhibitions of nationally and internationally known sculptors and artists such as Henry Moore, Anthony Caro, Elizabeth Frink, Barbara Hepworth, Picasso, Sandra Blow, Mary Fedden, Peter Blake, whilst at the same nurturing local talent and helping the careers of the next generation of artists and crafts people through exhibitions, sale of work and prizes and scholarships. The Gallery moved into Waggon Yard in 1966 - in 2016 the Trust celebrated its 50th anniversary in the 17th century Grade II building in in the centre of the Farnham Craft Town. During the years, the gallery has administered the profits from craft and art sales to create prizes and scholarships, and for the purchase of artworks for local and national museums. It was one of the first provincial galleries to show artists with an international reputation as well as supporting local talent.
