house of culture brighton
When I was 10, my friend Karolina took me to this magical place called MDK
Lublin, where we had a chance to be creative in so many different ways. There
were so many activities to choose from and try, art, music, drama, dance,
technology, languages, cooking, to name a few. It was my happy place where I
felt inspired, understood, safe and never judged. When I became a mum, I wanted
my son and other kids to have similar experiences and a place like that. House
of Culture Brighton is a space where one can discover, express and enjoy
creativity. It is a safe space in the local community to come together and
explore their creative side irrespective of ability, age, sex, race or religion.
HoC connects communities bringing people together to share experiences through a
diverse timetable of art and wellbeing activities in a fully accessible venue in
the heart of Brighton’s city centre.
