It was on 12th October 1885 that the twelve Glasgow Companies held a meeting to form the Glasgow Battalion. More than 130 years later Glasgow Battalion comprises 57 Companies operating in Glasgow and East Kilbride, the role of a Battalion is to promote the interests of the Brigade in its area by organising activities for members; by the provision of support, training and opportunities for fellowship for Leaders; and by seeking opportunities for development of the Brigade to fulfil its Object better.

CSAWS is a team of proactive, passionate and committed Education Welfare Officers with collective Education Welfare and school experience of over 70 years and expert knowledge in all aspects of Education Welfare and Safeguarding. We are committed to achieving better outcomes for children by securing regular attendance at school. We understand the reasons behind non-school attendance can be varied and complex. We can offer support to identify and improve school attendance including reviewing, refining and advising on school approaches and processes. We can develop clear action plans for schools through data analysis and audits to support you in understanding the attendance issues in your school community and how to improve your whole school attendance. We are currently commissioned to work with a large number of primary and secondary schools, Pupil Referral Units, alternative providers, post-16 providers and nurseries across the Midlands area in raising their attendance both overall and in individual cases. We offer a bespoke service to all provisions and in addition to attendance packages offer safe and well checks, strategic support, data analysis and staff supervision. Our team are all DBS checked, up-to-date with appropriate Multi Agency Safeguarding training and committed to ongoing professional development, further training and each have Professional Supervision for their own practice. Birmingham Country Club, nestled in the southwest corner of Birmingham, was founded in 1916 by a group of six local businessmen. They purchased what was then the Case farm, which consisted of 161 acres of beautiful rolling land filled with trees, hills, valleys and a winding stream. Their original intent was to create a real-estate development, but the natural beauty of the site persuaded them to build a golf course instead. The original clubhouse was a white farmhouse built on Northlawn Road, right across from the 18th fairway. It was eventually replaced by a wood-frame clubhouse built on the course grounds near what is now the putting green. Membership grew, and on March 30, 1930, just after the stock market crash, their current English-style clubhouse was opened. While Donald Ross made suggestions for Birmingham’s golf course in 1920, it was Tom Bendlelow who designed it in 1911. Bendlelow laid out the first nine holes in 1916, and finished the final nine in 1920. The course was remodeled in 1928, and was again revamped in the 1930s, when golf course architect and five-time Indiana Amateur champion, William Diddell, redesigned it. Prior to BCC hosting the PGA in 1953, Robert Trent Jones worked on it, and noted course architects Bruce and Jerry Matthews worked on it again in 1963

Peculiar Generation Services Ltd is a non-profit organisation limited by guarantee. Their vision is to contribute to the development of the Lancashire community by way of offering their services to the needs of people in the community. Our focus is on how to help rough sleepers, drug-addicted people, young and middle-aged people going through challenges of life. We believe that everyone has a right to shelter in Lancashire, therefore there must be alternative to streets for everyone in the community. This is possible if the community can support the government by contributing their quarter towards the eradication of some of the challenges confronting the grass root. Our aims and activities are to provide shelter for homeless and rough sleepers during cold weather between December and March of every year. During this period we will accommodate them, feed them and provide enabling environment for them. Our research discovered that young adult is now engaging with the drug without caution. It is our concern to have a society that is free of violence and the way we can tackle this seeming problem is to nip it in the bud by way of engaging this young adult through seminar and training. Adults. We will design a program for these people that have gone through abuse and still going through figment of imagination which has caused them depression.
