Hello, and thank you for popping by. People often ask me why I do what I do. Well, in 2010 I experienced a heartbreaking bereavement to suicide. Sadly, my son’s father, lost his struggle with poor mental health. My son and I faced the challenges and adversity that came with this traumatic experience. This bereavement to suicide contributed towards experiencing a downward spiral of declining mental health. The ‘’just keep swimming’’ mantra, so prevalent in society, became unmanageable. I was drowning and recognised I needed HELP. While researching my way back to good mental health, using tools such as GRM (The Grief Recovery Method ®), Mindfulness and NLP, I discovered that truly HELPful support was hard to find. My realisation that I needed help brought about a motivation to survive and thrive from my experience. I am a proactive and HELPful coach. I use my credentials as a Master NLP practitioner, Grief Recovery Method® Specialist and Mindfulness Teacher to provide an all-encompassing approach that has resulted in helping over 1000 people. My mission is to provide people with HELP that supports positive mental health and prevent other families from experiencing loss due to poor mental health. In all my coaching and training, I apply Honesty and Empathy while really Listening and giving Practical advice that makes a difference. Because it’s OK to ask for HELP.

About Bright I's Lead Consultant and Director Bright I's is about the professional development of teaching methods in Literacy that are driven by creativity in classroom approach that ensures progress and impact. Bright I's is the brainchild of Kala Williams, a leading practitioner who has taught in Coventry's secondary and primary schools for over 15 years both as a tutor and a qualified teacher. Having identified her area of specialism as Reading in Literacy particularly in KS2 practice, Kala has conceptualised a consultancy that is about practice through active lesson modeling, staff support and training as well as on the ground lesson delivery and coaching. She has successfully driven progress and attainment in all schools taught with her unique and systematic classroom approach that keeps pupils hooked, engaged and driven by high aspirations. She has taught across both Key Stages with particular expertise in Year 6 and Year 5. Despite being a new primary consultant, her passion for literacy has seen rapid growth in the first year of Bright I's conception. To date, she has trained over 100 teachers across the West Midlands, coached over 30 teachers one to one, delivered group reading intervention to over 150 children (KS1 and KS2) and has currently written a book on reading teaching due for publishing by 2021 with Bloomsbury Education.

My background is sport and fitness based having achieved a BSc (hons) Sport Science and Administration Degree. Since graduating I have taken on many coaching roles within the fitness industry to help develop and inspire those around me. I have run FitKid sessions for children as well as RSA Exercise To Music Courses for aspiring teachers, worked as a lecturer in local colleges and of course run fitness classes ranging from Circuits and Body Pump to Yoga and Step. I bring this vast experience to my current classes along with a passion to help people be the best they can be and have fun along the way. I have encouraged many people as they start on their fitness journey and motivated them to continue on their chosen path.
