I am an Addiction Specialist, an Author, Speaker, TV, Radio and Social Media personality, and respected pioneer in Addiction Consulting. I deliver life-changing material and personal expertise to shift clients towards a more fulfilling future. Through gaining personal empirical knowledge, I incorporate this experience along with research, training, and vocation in guiding those afflicted by trauma and addiction. The complexity of human behavior requires a non-prescriptive approach; I transform people's lives through mentally disbanding the cause of their pain. As a proponent of breaking free from 'the madness', I have successfully liberated numerous individuals from 'hell' so that they can lead fruitful and inspiring lives. My creation, The 'Buxy Recovery Process', will liberate thousands of people from their burdens. I am a recovered addict, an abuse victim, and above all a survivor. I talk candidly about my experiences to help others liberate themselves from the attachments to any addiction- food, drugs, sex, technology and more. My approach incorporates modalities that identify the subconscious reasons for the undesired behaviour, which reveals the path to healing and brings hope for a better future. My shows include Saf Talks, MensTalk -a Feel Good Factor TV show on SKY Showcase 192, and a show on Spirituality Gone Wild. I have also co-founded Non-Profit Charities, which has earned me the following awards: Global Humanitarian Award Global Change Maker (LOANI & World Leaders Association) MENTORx Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award (Award of Honor) Breakthrough International Bible University An honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters Black Blazer Award "Gold Men's Award for leadership, excellence and achievement" Worldwide Leaders Association & LOANI "An agent of change recognition" Institute of Global Professionals "Certificate of Appreciation" Prof Amb. AbdullGhani Yahya Al-ebarh "Peace Medal" My new book, Out of the Madness: A Message of Hope has been published in March 2021. This autobiography is written to help others wake up out of their unhealthy habits to see their gifts.

Jane Hamilton Pilates

Edinburgh,

Over the last 12 years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed teaching Pilates to many people of all ages and abilities, and with varying muscle and joint problems, back issues and health conditions. I started my complementary healthcare training 19 years ago, qualifying in 2002 with a diploma from the London School of Sports Massage. I returned to my home city of Edinburgh that year, successfully building up a client base and running the complementary healthcare clinic Happy Being for 12 years in the west end, until 2020. Back in 2009, I decided to train as a Pilates teacher and qualified with a certificate in mat Pilates teaching Level 3 CYQ (Central YMCA Qualifications). This came from a desire to help my massage clients develop the tools to care for their own bodies rather than relying on regular massage treatments and doing their own exercises between sessions with varying results. The two disciplines successfully ran side by side, with many people coming to the clinic for both massage treatments and Pilates classes. In 2016 I developed my physiological and anatomical knowledge and practical skills further by achieving an advanced remedial massage diploma from the Scottish School of Sports Massage. I apply the knowledge I gained through this training to my Pilates teaching, drawing on a deeper understanding of the human body and how it works. I am constantly developing ideas, combining my vision with a structured modern approach. I’ve worked with many clients with varying levels of fitness and health conditions, from athletes to those with chronic fatigue syndrome CFS/ ME. I start with the 8 fundamental principles of the Pilates Method and the many Pilates movements to bring about new ideas. These are often from varying disciplines which I’ve studied and practised over the years such as Qigong, Tai Chi and even meditation with breath work. Many of the balance, warm-up stretches and cool-down movements in the classes are Qigong-based.

Our courses are designed so the learner can learn at their own pace using whatever device they want. Learning is no longer confined to the classroom in a rigid 6-8 hour ‘bore-fest’! Motherwell

Let me tell you a little bit about me... I have had a passion for dogs for as long as I can remember! Growing up with border collies and always looking after dogs for friends and family was the starting point of my love for all things dog! In 2012 I decided to take things a step further and began my studies on both Dog Training and Behaviour in order to become a certified trainer and behaviourist After an intensive initial 2 years studying, I set up my own dog training services in 2013 and have continued to help owners and their dogs since as well as continuing to further my own studies and knowledge each year through various accredited colleges, courses and dog training affiliations. As it stands I now have almost a decade of experience in my field as well as numerous certificates & diplomas and continue to develop my knowledge and accreditations further year on year At any given time my husband and I tend to have a small pack of our own! The services I offer cover dog training , puppy training, dog obedience training and behaviour support in Wishaw, Motherwell and most of the Lanarkshire based areas I primarily offer 1-2-1 private training but also have group obedience classes, group confidence walks, Puppy groups and puppy play dates throughout the year! Julie Smith dog training and behaviour in North Lanarkshire Dog trainer CONTACT ME FOR AVAILABILITY & COSTS Certificates , Qualifications & Memberships My very first certificate was back in 2012 now and was the Sarah Whitehead 'Think Dog' course Since then I have accumulated many more including IMDT certificates, a BCCS diploma in Advanced Canine Behaviour with a 'Merit' award, and an Open College Diploma course in dog training which I passed with 'Distinction'. I am a member of and a recognised instructor for the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour, details of which can be found on the ADTB website. You'll also find my business listed on the British College of Canine Studies graduate directory As well as this I have a host of positive reviews on the Good Dog Guide website where my services have been listed for many years I continue to grow in my field now and look to continue studying for many years to come. You can never know to much! A 'Balanced' approach to modern dog training My training methods focus on positive and reward based training with all dogs including my own and truly believe this is the best way for not only the dogs but in order to strengthen the trust and bonds we have with them. This can be with food, praise or their favourite toy depending on the dog. We do need to add corrections when training to help our dogs understand what we are looking for from them. These do NOT have to inflict pain or fear and none of the methods I use will ever hurt or scare a dog! My training methods are about building trust with your dog and strengthening the bond and relationship you have. I use ways which will motivate the dog and have been found to have better long term benefits for both you and him I train my own dogs the same way I will train yours. And I'd very much like to say I am proud of my dogs as a whole and the amazing bond we share

On the rare occasions that Dan Lee Training uses other trainers as associates he makes sure that they too can deliver the courses to the same standard. Why doesn't Dan Lee Training do accredited training? In our history we have been accredited by the CIEH and IOSH but have found the value that these accreditations bring does not justify the costs of setting up and maintaining the administration. Dan Lee is qualified to write and deliver all training courses. You can rest assured that the content will meet the legal requirement that you need to comply with. Why don't you do IATA Dangerous Goods by Air training? It's not that we can't - we could - but we don't agree with the prescriptive manner of how the course is required to be delivered by IATA and the UK's CAA. The IATA DG course does not allow for a qualified trainer to deliver the course in the manner that they deem appropriate. Until they do - Dan Lee Training won't put their name to their list. Remember, we don't do boring training.

Park Pharmacy Trust

Plymouth

Park Pharmacy Trust, a registered Educational Charity, has since its inception in 1984 been working closely with Plymouth City Council for the wider benefits of the local community. It has received National recognition for both its innovative approaches to life-long learning and as a tourist attraction for visitors to Plymouth. Its famous C J Park Pharmacy, the last remaining Victorian chemist's shop in Plymouth, established in 1864, had been a major tourist attraction in the Merchant's House Museum where it was manned by trust volunteers. There thousands of visitors could see the pharmacy, try their hand at old fashioned pill-rolling (and earn a certificate of proficiency in the art of pill rolling) and talk to the volunteer stewards on duty. A weekend event held at the Merchant's House Museum Pharmacy is Phun, attracted record numbers of visitors. The pharmacy was televised Nationally to over 8 million viewers when Park Pharmacy Trust became the joint United Kingdom winner in the Tourism and Heritage categories of the BBC's ''It's My City!'' competition. In fact, Plymouth, because of Park Pharmacy Trust, became the only winning city in the south of England. The C J Park pharmacy display is currently in store and the Merchant’s House is closed following extensive repairs to the structure of the building. Park Pharmacy Trust has ambitious plans to develop a major tourist attraction: Plymouth Heritage Health Science Exploratory (THE EXPLORATORY) in which the C J Park pharmacy display will be rebuilt. This is the way the pharmacy purchased by Mr Charles Park in 1875, looked in 1864. It was then at no. 1 Mutley plain. It is thought that Mr Park moved the pharmacy to number 23 Mutley Plain around 1879. The original shop had four carboys (big glass bottles) in the window whereas at 23 Mutley Plain there was only room for three carboys. The fourth carboy was found in the hayloft and is in the collection of Park Pharmacy Trust and will be included in the C J Park display in the Plymouth Health Science Exploratory. . Mr Charles Park (third from right) with his staff around 1910 and the delivery boy on the left, who worked for the Park family for 40 years was known as ‘Park’s Express’.
