Therefore, we are producing a systematic theological philosophy of Islam in multi-faith societies and applying it to address the educational needs of researchers, the judiciary, the prison service, the media and schools.

Founded by Cliff Bura in 2008, Diesel Gym was born in an area steeped in a rich combat sports history – London’s East End. Throughout its existence it has prided itself in developing international competitors and champions across all of disciplines its practices – true “school of excellence”. From its Muay Thai practice which grew from the legendary Grandmaster Sken’s Sitnarong camp to Eddie Bravo’s world famous 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system (a no-gi specific grappling system designed specifically for MMA and utilised consistently by many competitors in promotions such as the UFC, Bellator and ONE Championship). Its wrestling practice and system is one Diesel has developed throughout the years to succeed in the MMA arena. All our Martial Arts practices are supported by Excel Strength & Conditioning who are there to build and maintain strong healthy athletes. While Physical Defence Physiotherapy are there as our inhouse physiotherapy support to bring members back to full fitness when needed. Despite Diesel’s long and successful competitive history, the majority of its members train for purely fitness, self defence or personal development reasons. Complete beginners are welcomed and nurtured as importantly as its professional athletes in a true community spirit. In 2019, Diesel Gym became a non-profit organisation, investing profits back in to its own community projects in Newham in areas such as sports for all, mental health wellbeing and youth crime.

West of Scotland Football Club (despite the name, which is historical) is a rugby club situated in Milngavie near Glasgow. It is a community focussed amateur sports club and prides itself in being a vibrant part of the local community. Usually simply called 'West' the club provides rugby for all ages from Pre-School right through to our veterans team who should know better......but don't. There is a vibrant junior section with over 260 participants at every age group from P1 to U16 and 6 senior teams (1st XV, 2nd Xv, 2As, U18s and our Women's side and the afore mentioned 'Burnbrae Bulls'. The club also welcomes non-playing members. Run entirely by volunteers, the club is proud of it's 157 years of history but is very focussed on providing a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment for young men and women to learn and enjoy the great team sport of Rugby Union.

Food Is Fun creates events for all ages, from Surestart Centres to Universities, from Schools to Care Homes. Each event is customised to fit in with the curriculum, specific requirements, diets or projects. Improving relationships with food in a fun way, Food is Fun is a community interest company that reinvests profits to make a difference to people's lives, promoting healthy eating for everyone in the South West. We deliver cooking and budgeting courses and workshops to various groups across Plymouth, teaching the benefits of healthy eating and how achieving a nutritious and balanced diet for the whole family can be achieved on a low budget. Food Is Fun CIC created what we thought would be a small group to support others with food worries caused by the pandemic. Three years on we've grown our group hugely. It’s been a tough year and food has been a huge part of that for many of us. We’ve been on an incredible journey together – baking, trying new recipes, swapping ingredients when they’re unavailable, sharing money saving tips, growing our own fruit and vegetables and sharing our successes, as well as the lessons we have learned.
