About After studying illustration, Stacey Chapman worked as a designer of interiors for events and corporate launches. She began Freehand Machine Embroidery after viewing the process on Kirstie Allsopp’s Channel 4 show. In November 2013 she founded her business, Art Sea Craft Sea, creating pet portraits in thread, to commission. Her unique application of the freehand machine embroidery process and background as an illustrator, enables her to create strikingly life like thread paintings. Since then she has exhibited around the UK at events ranging from Crufts to Countryfile Live and Kirstie Allsopp's Handmade Fair. Stacey was proud to be taken under the wing of Janome in 2016 and has taught workshops at their custom built sewing school at their HQ in Stockport. Chapman has gone on to teach creative sewing workshops around the country from regular sessions at John Lewis in Oxford Street to her hometown of Margate, Kent. For these sessions at the luxe Sands Hotel, Stacey was nominated for a Tourism and Hospitality Award in 2019 as well as being shortlisted for the National Needlecraft Awards in the same year. In 2020 started teaching online for the prestigious teaching college for the W.I., Denman at Home. As well as writing her monthly column for the UK's best selling sewing magazine, Love Sewing, Stacey still creates and exhibits in local galleries with her vintage style portraiture and fashion Illustrations featuring up cycled retro fabrics, revisiting a technique she began at school.

Cornwall

Was born in Africa and lived in Lagos until her 9th birthday when her family moved back to the UK and more specifically Cornwall. Moving to Cornwall at such a key age shaped her passions and future in so many ways. Having always been in swimming pools and the sea in Africa the love of water intensified on the beautiful beaches and in the crashing Atlantic surf of the Cornish Coastline. The sea and its different moods have always been in her life. Being a keen surfer in her teens her love of playing in and with the elements became all encompassing when she discovered the thrill of kitesurfing. A pioneer in the early days of the sport she set up one of the first schools in the UK, and competed on the world circuit with her highest ranking being 3rd in the world. She also enjoyed other kiting challenges and set a world record by kitesurfing from Cornwall to Ireland ( under her maiden name Wharry), She discovered Glass by accident, through her landlady whilst studying at Falmouth art college, falling instantly in love with the look and the process of working with glass she decided to specialise in Architectural Stained Glass at Swansea. Though not actively working with glass during her sporting career, the fascination never left. Now retired from competition, glass is back as the focus of her passion. “Its colour, its reflections and translucent quality instantly captured my heart. To me it has a similar quality to water. It is enigmatic you can look at it, or through it. It is there and not there and can create a potent visual effect, either opulent or subtle. I love the challenge of designing for different buildings, interiors and people, whether a large architectural piece or an intensely personal small piece. “ Dreya

Poppy Loves London

poppy loves london

Hello and welcome! I’m delighted you found me here in my little corner of the internet. When I started blogging in 2010 on a very clunky laptop, I had no clue at all that Poppy Loves London and all that it encompasses, would become my full time and very much loved job. Here you’ll find me writing about things I love now and have loved over the years, including my favourite fashion finds, travel destinations, recipes, homeware and coffee haunts. I’ve written endlessly about cosy cafes to hide away in and fancy restaurants for celebrations, my latest beauty finds, bakeries (the cake!) gorgeous interiors, books I’ve adored and all things knitwear. Oh, and jumpsuits. (Oh, and dresses…) And of course, you can’t shut me up about my home city, London. What a place it is… I have over a decade of experience in working in branding, social media and communications so I understand the influencer world from both sides, which has been incredibly valuable over the years and has meant that I have been able to work with and support some of my favourite brands and businesses. If you are interested in working with me, please see this page. Having this background in business has also enabled me to set up my Instagram Masterclasses for Small Businesses and my Instagram Course for Small Businesses. Helping people drive more business and revenue via their Instagram accounts is something I’m immensely proud of – I’ve loved every second. I live in Walthamstow, London with my husband and daughter, Isabelle, who was born in 2018. After a fairly traumatic few months for us all, while she suffered enormously with reflux, we all popped out the other end with a huge sigh of relief and she is now a proper walking, talking human and the funniest person I know. She can also out-eat me in crumpets, which you should know, is exceptionally impressive. Thank you for all your support over the years, through the ups and downs, through pregnancy and pandemics – it’s been such a pleasure to write for you all and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings… Eva x

Furnished houses have become an increasingly popular choice for many renters, offering a range of benefits that cater to various lifestyles. Whether you're a professional, a student, or someone who frequently relocates, furnished homes provide a level of convenience and comfort that is hard to beat. Let's delve into the reasons why furnished houses are the best option for modern living. CONVENIENCE AND EASE OF MOVING READY-TO-MOVE-IN One of the primary advantages of Furnished Houses In Lahore [https://iharent.com/] is the immediate readiness for occupancy. You don't have to worry about the time-consuming and often stressful process of buying, transporting, and arranging furniture. Everything you need is already in place, allowing you to move in and start living right away. HASSLE-FREE SETUP Setting up a new home can be daunting, especially if you have to start from scratch. Furnished houses eliminate this hassle by providing all the necessary furniture and appliances. This ease of setup means you can focus on other important aspects of your move, such as adjusting to a new job or school. COST EFFICIENCY NO FURNITURE PURCHASE REQUIRED Furnishing a home can be a significant financial burden. By choosing a furnished house, you save a considerable amount of money that would otherwise be spent on purchasing furniture and household items. This cost-saving is particularly beneficial for short-term renters or those who frequently relocate. REDUCED MOVING COSTS Moving furniture can be expensive, especially if you have to hire professional movers or rent a truck. Furnished homes negate this cost, as you only need to transport your personal belongings. This reduction in moving expenses makes furnished houses a more economical choice. FLEXIBLE LEASE TERMS Many furnished rentals offer flexible lease terms, catering to both short-term and long-term stays. This flexibility is ideal for people with unpredictable schedules, such as corporate professionals, interns, or travelers, allowing them to find accommodation that fits their needs without being locked into lengthy contracts. TIME-SAVING NO TIME SPENT ON FURNITURE SHOPPING Finding the right furniture can be a time-consuming process, involving numerous trips to stores and hours spent online searching for the perfect pieces. Furnished houses save you this time by providing a fully equipped living space, so you can spend your time on more enjoyable or productive activities. QUICK AND EASY SETUP The immediate availability of a furnished home means you can set up your new living space in no time. There's no need to wait for furniture deliveries or spend weekends assembling flat-pack furniture. You can simply move in, unpack your clothes and personal items, and start enjoying your new home. PROFESSIONAL AND STYLISH INTERIORS EXPERTLY DECORATED SPACES Furnished houses are often professionally decorated, ensuring that the interior design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. This professional touch can make your living environment more comfortable and enjoyable, providing a home that feels well put together and inviting. CONSISTENT STYLE AND QUALITY With a furnished home, you can expect a consistent style throughout the house, with furniture and decor that complement each other. This consistency creates a harmonious living space that is both attractive and comfortable. Additionally, furnished rentals often feature higher quality furniture than what you might purchase on a budget, enhancing your living experience. IDEAL FOR VARIOUS LIFESTYLES PERFECT FOR PROFESSIONALS For corporate professionals or those relocating for work, furnished houses offer a hassle-free solution. The ability to move into a fully equipped home means you can focus on your job without the distraction of setting up a new household. This ease of transition is particularly beneficial for busy professionals who need to hit the ground running in their new location. STUDENT-FRIENDLY OPTIONS International students or those studying far from home can greatly benefit from furnished rentals. These homes provide all the essentials, making it easier for students to settle in quickly and focus on their studies. The availability of study desks, comfortable living areas, and essential appliances creates a conducive environment for academic success. SUITABLE FOR FREQUENT MOVERS For individuals who move frequently, such as military personnel, consultants, or digital nomads, furnished houses offer unmatched convenience. The ability to relocate without the burden of moving furniture simplifies the process, allowing for a smoother and less stressful transition between homes. MINIMAL MAINTENANCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES LANDLORD TAKES CARE OF REPAIRS In a furnished rental, the landlord typically takes responsibility for maintaining the furniture and appliances provided. This arrangement means that if anything breaks or needs repair, it's not your financial or logistical burden to bear. This reduced responsibility can be a significant relief, especially for busy individuals. LESS WEAR AND TEAR Furnished homes often experience less wear and tear on personal belongings since the provided furniture is designed for durability. Additionally, tenants are less likely to use their own furniture, reducing the chances of damage during moves. This preservation of personal items can be a considerable advantage over time. ENHANCED SECURITY AND AMENITIES SECURE BUILDINGS Furnished rentals are frequently located in secure buildings with additional safety features such as security cameras, gated entries, and on-site security personnel. This enhanced security provides peace of mind for tenants, knowing that their home and belongings are well-protected. ACCESS TO AMENITIES Many Furnished Houses In Paragon City [https://iharent.com/places/house-no-638-woods-block-5-marla-3-beds-paragon-city-lahore/] rentals come with access to shared amenities like gyms, swimming pools, and communal lounges. These facilities can enhance your living experience, providing opportunities for recreation, fitness, and socializing without the need to leave your building. ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS REDUCED WASTE Choosing a furnished home can be an environmentally friendly decision. By utilizing the existing furniture and appliances, you reduce the demand for new products, which in turn decreases waste and conserves resources. This sustainable living choice can have a positive impact on the environment. LOWER CARBON FOOTPRINT The process of manufacturing, transporting, and disposing of furniture contributes to carbon emissions. By living in a furnished home, you reduce the need for these activities, thereby lowering your overall carbon footprint. This eco-conscious decision supports a more sustainable lifestyle. FLEXIBILITY IN PERSONALIZATION ADDING PERSONAL TOUCHES While furnished homes come equipped with essential items, they still offer the flexibility to personalize the space. You can add your own decorative touches, such as artwork, cushions, and plants, to make the home feel uniquely yours without the need for permanent changes. TEMPORARY YET CUSTOMIZABLE Furnished homes provide a great balance between temporary living and personalization. You can enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped home while still being able to customize the decor to your taste. This flexibility is particularly appealing for those who value a personalized living environment without the long-term commitment. CONCLUSION Furnished houses offer a range of benefits that make them an excellent choice for many renters. From the convenience of a ready-to-move-in home to the cost savings and reduced maintenance responsibilities, furnished rentals simplify the process of finding and settling into a new place. Whether you're a professional, a student, or someone who moves frequently, furnished homes provide a comfortable, stylish, and hassle-free living solution. Consider the advantages of furnished living for your next move and experience the ease and comfort it brings.

Ongoing - Mixed Media Mosaic Courses, PlayShops, Spring and Summer Schools. Welcome!  Come and have fun exploring the joy and wonder of our innate creative gifts through the process of making mixed media mosaics together.  My intention is to support and encourage you in exploring your true creative potentiality through the wonderful process of making mosaics 'Peace by Piece' Sharing the deeply restorative process of gently reawakening creativity through brokenness.   I look forward to welcoming you. Thank you for your interest. Emma's Background Feeling deep appreciation for my early life, growing up in a super abundant garden, bursting with wondrous flowers and bountiful blossoms. Learning from a young age how to meet with nature in her fullness of spirit. Family life was coloured with complexity, tragedy and challenge.  I found great solace within the wholeness of garden space, which heightened my awareness of our deeply interconnected, cyclical nature. Our bohemian home was full of floral interiors, antiques, un-conventional ornaments and myriad curiosities.  Many of which continue to inspire and adorn my mosaic art today. In my early twenties I began exploring the process of making sculptural ceramics for many years at a local art school.  During that time I was invited to join a weekend course making mosaics.   I loved the idea of working in instant colour and form. I meandered with mosaic process and fell in love! I later became artist in residence at a local historical house and spiritual centre, which offered courses, retreats and B&B.  People visited from all over the country and around the world, which enabled me to meet and explore with many colourful seekers.  My studio was the ground floor of a small 17th Century listed cottage in the grounds of the center. The cottage looked out onto a wonderful walled garden, which I helped to care for, harvesting inspiration for my art.  Inspiration I appreciate the beauty and generosity of our natural world.  Offering an authentic, curative ground of endless wonderment and creativity.  My garden is a great source of delight and inspiration.  Teeming with every colour and tone, heartening aromas and kindred vibrations.  I’m passionate about vintage china.  I love how it offers endless possibility of pattern, hue, myriad tender tones and expressive textures.  Inspiring a deep sense of memory and creative potentiality within.  The fragments have a fine body and reliable quality, which allows for clean, strong cuts. I find this material very pleasing to create with. The whole process of making mosaics is a miraculous quest of gathering together diverse materials, from house clearances to charity & curiosity shops, enabling an endless enchanted flow of abundant potentiality and great fun!  I’m always in deepest appreciation for unique donated gifts of broken antiques, vintage wonders, figurines, vases and re-claimed stained glass.  Technique My studio is abounding with many colour-coded palettes, brimming with vintage china treasures, enabling me to be in spontaneous mosaic flow with ease of application. I spend quiet time, musing with mosaic movement.  Creating space for day dreaming, wondering and glimpsing potentiality. I appreciate my precious tools.  Various hand cutters and nippers of many shapes and sizes.  Remarkable, reliable, dear old friends. As I begin making mosaics I often just sit and start loosely nipping and cutting.  Feeling into and aligning myself with little sparks of inspiration.  Gently shaping each piece, miracles begin transpiring through mosaic metamorphosis. I use various cement-based adhesives and PVA glues for fixing the fragments to the different surfaces.   I often use natural pigments to colour the final grout application, which creates depth and helps to unify the whole piece. Goal My intention is to encourage harmony to emerge from diverse and discarded materials. Sharing the deeply restorative process of gently reawakening creativity through brokenness.  ‘Peace by Piece’ facilitating harmony & beauty.   Sharing the joy and wonder of our innate creativity through making memorable mosaics - 'Peace by Piece' Ongoing mixed media mosaic courses, playshops , Spring and Summer schools. Thank you for your interest. In kindness and blessing, Emma
