An interdisciplinary UK based visual artist, educator and researcher exploring the potential breaking disciplinary boundaries and finding new ways to approach communication. Exploring how art and science can come together to benefit our health and wellbeing. Sarah has a personal interest in Neurology and Neuro diversity due to having drug resistant Epilepsy. Artist's Practice: Sarah L Goy MA, (Dis) - Animation Production. Sarah initially studied Fine Art and then Natural History Illustration, she now embraces the potential of the moving image. Her focus has always been on emotions, nature and her environment, with a specialisation in drawing and painting from life. Inspired by her travels she aims to capture every day moments in her sketch books, which are the foundations for all her other works. Although taking an analogue and tactile approach to her practice Sarah has become interested in the possibilities and potential of technology, experimental animation and the moving image and how they might be used beyond pure entertainment. This became part of her post graduate research in 2021 and continues to be the core of her research interest. As a visiting lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth ( AUB) and Southampton Art Gallery, she creates and presents new courses, with the emphasis on ' art for all'. Encouraging students to enjoy the process of creating and getting in touch with their inner child. Sarah also creates and runs online art therapy styled creative sessions, again, encouraging a sense of play through which new skills are gained, whilst encouraging a sense of community and inclusivity.

Megan Crook is a self-taught textile guru. She has been expanding her craft for over 15 years. During this time, Megan has developed a cult following for her unique and eye-catching designs. From hand to machine knits and pattern cutting to tailoring, Megan inherently combines a multitude of techniques and is forever seeking more knowledge and experience. In 2018 Megan Crook Textiles was born, this brand focuses on machine embroidery and embellishment to create unique and individual surface patterns using mixed materials and novelty knitting yarns. The outcome is an inspiring array of colour and texture showcased across a range of accessories, interiors and bespoke garments all created by hand in her new studio in the heart of Nottingham. A lot goes into making every item. From sourcing, pattern drafting, grading, sampling, cutting, manufacturing, finishing, and photography. All of this is done in our Nottingham studio. We believe in warmth, generosity, respect, equality, inclusivity and making a difference. We are an independent community art studio based in a self contained annex at the Branksome Centre, BH12 2EA, Dorset. We are a CIC ~ Not for Profit Organisation also known as a Social Enterprise. Company number 09926964 Artisan team is made up of 70 highly skilled, passionate artists with a wide range of abilities and are experienced in working with a variety of exciting media. We were initially funded with a 1 year “Start up Fund” by Arts Council England in 2013 and are now 8 years old and sustainable without funding although special projects are supported from time to time by LUSH and JP Morgan. We thank them for their generosity. We have a beautiful accessible studio with a rear garden, accessible loo and disabled parking. The Founding Director and Lead Artist is Pauline Stanley, BA (Hons) Fine Art, a graduate from Arts University Bournemouth, a socially engaged visual artist and an arts and health practitioner who has worked with many schools, festivals, museums, Pavilion Dance, Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival, Artsreach, visiting lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth and also teaches on international cruises. She has a background in nursing in mental health/learning disability.
