‘I don’t remember where I lost myself but I do when I chose to be found’ This is how my story begins in the international best seller ‘Reclaiming your Midlife Mojo’ It has been said that owning your story is the most powerful thing you can do. That I agree with, all be it, vulnerably uncomfortable! For you here’s a little back story … For YEARS I was in survival mode Forever juggling, lost in the to do list, functioning but not LIVING My life was a performance. I was an actress & a good one Playing an extrovert when I am an introvert Out going, out there, when my soul was crying for solitude The signs were all there, all masked and ignored I hid the pain, the deep rotted sadness, stuffed them down, to grow roots those roots go so deep that I was literally ‘rooted’ … forced to stop, nothing left, light out & in truth wanted out. A presence greater than me lifted me that day and life began to change It was the wake up call I needed to stop blocking, hiding and running and to come home to me. It was not an easy or comfortable journey but one I would do again in a heart beat. That was 8 years ago. Since that day I followed the cosmic bread crumbs and trusted where I was guided I bought a caravan by the sea, trained in yoga, hired (my ‘first’ ) coach, became a coach, and continued to learn/ certify/invest in healing modalities/ trainings that felt like a YES in my body. Everything I share is tried, tested, integrated and embodied. I am a walking testimonial of the healing power of diving INTO the SHADOWS to alchemise them to LIGHT

ver many years of strict training, in Japan and the west, Daizan Roshi received Dharma Transmission and permission to teach in both the Rinzai and Soto lineages of Zen. He has also undergone training as an enlightenment intensive master with Lawrence Noyes, leading student of the creator of enlightenment intensives, Charles Berner. Daizan Roshi received inka from Shinzan Miyamae Roshi of Gyokuryuji, with whom he continues to study (see below). Upon returning from Japan in 2007, Daizan Roshi went on walking pilgrimage up the centre of the island of Britain from the south tip of the Isle of Wight to the north tip of Scotland, living solely on alms food. He met many of his students from different parts of the UK during this time. Daizan Roshi currently offers sanzen (‘interviews’ or training encounters with his students) at Yugagyo Dojo (Zen Yoga) in London as well as using Skype for remote students. Together with his students, he has established, “Yugagyo Dojo”, a Zen training place in London. Daizan Roshi was teaching at The Buddhist Society, the oldest non-sectarian Buddhist Society in Europe, until his retirement from the post in December 2011. His Zen study incorporated yoga practice. He has also studied yoga in Europe, America and Asia. He brings this wide range of yoga experience to sharing a practice that combines physical challenge with mental and spiritual development. He is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level and is registered with the Independent Yoga Network as a Yoga Elder with more than 5000 hours of successful teaching experience. Daizan trains yoga teachers to find an expression that is authentically their own and will bring them success when they teach. His knowledge and training in Zen gives him the background to guide you on your spiritual journey.

I’ve been on a Hero’s Journey since 2014. What that means is I’ve been questioning the nature of my reality and diving into existential crises. I have phases of feeling super alive and aligned! And other times, I feel super confused, vulnerable and afraid. The expansion and contraction. The death and the rebirth. Over and over. Just riding those waves of personal transformation and evolution - which I think we can all agree have really heated up since 2020! I’m not shy from making big bold moves. From sacking off a successful corporate career in 2019 to work for myself in the personal development space, to reconnecting with my estranged dad after 17 years apart and also getting divorced. I am doing The Work, and am a student of Hermetic Laws. And my external world continues to change as my internal world. As above, so below. As within, so without. My path is my work and my work is my path. I love snakes and have a companion snake, Marmalade, who’s been with me since 2007. She’s a constant reminder to keep moving - the law of vibration - and that it’s ok to keep shedding and letting go as we move through life. Oh and I’m a massive water baby. I love being in cold water, whether that’s rivers, lakes, loches or the sea! And I love trees! My feet are often dirty from walking barefoot so much. I am gradually rewilding this animal body, and listening deeply to her needs. There is so much wisdom in this body,. You can join me on this adventure! I work with people in a variety of ways. I typically work with other space holders - coaches, breathworkers, therapists - to support their mindset and business practices. I offer group coaching and 1:1 sessions.

St Albans

I set up Albany Pet Services with the support of the Princes Trust Charity. After university I took some routes down the corporate route. I had visions that lunches in London and walking past the Heron tower and the Gherkin would carrying my Kate Spade handbag would fulfil me but it didn’t! In search of more meaning in my work, I joined a charity and learnt about the power of how dogs learn. It fascinated me how much trust a person could place in their dogs and how clever dogs were. From here, after my contract ended, I started Albany Pet Services. I’m fascinated by neuroscience and how it can help to build habits and reach goals. I look at a pets behaviour from a holistic approach. It’s important for me to understand a pet’s behaviour from their early life experiences and previous reinforcement that makes them behave this way. Sometimes the need the pet is desiring is not always food so it’s important for me to look at a behaviour from a motivation perspective. I believe training can help a pet be safe in our busy world, and when done correctly can be an excellent preventative strategy for behavioural challenges. Consent is key, for human and non human learners. My training service can help you to feel more confident with your dog and help you to stress less. I have spent hundreds of hours studying, reading, writing reports and training and I would love to share what I have learnt to overcome the particular challenge you’re experiencing. I volunteer for the Blue Cross providing talks for children in schools about canine choice, pet care and staying safe around dogs. This is really important to me as many dog bites can be preventable. When I am not working with people and their pets, I enjoy watching and participating in my local theatre and running group. I also love singing and dancing ( I’m yet to master them but I enjoy them nevertheless!). Flying a plane is the next goal!

Being a dancer from a very early age I experienced a serendipitous moment when I was introduced to yoga at the age of 17 by one of my dance teachers. For me dancing was my lifeline in discovering myself. If I was ever mentally or emotionally challenged my body released whatever it needed to release by moving it. Then yoga came into my life and I loved the way my body and my mind felt during and after the practice. It felt like I was coming home. Back to the source and truth of who and what I am. My unique style of yoga has developed over the years by my love of anatomy and physiology and the way in which the body wants to constantly heal itself. Moving and breathing in our bones enables the tissues and the fluid systems to pulse in an intelligent and healing way connecting us to our own innate wisdom. By tuning in and truly listening to what is going on, our mental, emotional, physical and psychic bodies resonate with mindfulness and clarity. I believe passionately in the power of yoga, it helps us to transcend our limitations and to find increasing freedom in our lives. What I enjoy most about teaching yoga is being able to assist others in their journey within and to help find acceptance and peace no matter where they are in their yoga practice. I am a mother to two beautiful children and we have lived in Somerset for nearly 20 years. I have also worked in the film industry for 25 years and have worked my way up from a runner to a 1st Assistant Director. I love walking in nature with my beautiful dogs and experiencing the wildness of the elements. I am a trained professional dancer & a registered Senior Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I am a Satya Prajna teacher with Tias Little from Prajna Yoga. I am also a SUP Yoga (Stand Up Paddleboard) teacher and classes will be coming to Somerset in the very near future.
