LPF Kiddies Club is a multi-award winning, non-profit, out of school club based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, that works with African and Caribbean children aged 5 to 14 years old who live in the Abbey Wood and Thamesmead areas, and their families. We work to support families of children living in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. Our school holiday club offers a wide range of fun and engaging workshops, activities, outings and day trips for children to participate in during the school holidays in safe environments where they are able to have fun and make new friends whilst developing and learning new skills. We create and deliver socially, culturally and educationally enriching projects, programs, workshops and community events for the benefit of the community as a whole via LPF Kiddies Club’s; Out of School club, STEM Heroes Science Club, Art, history and Culture club, and our Summer School. Our aim is to develop and enhance the potential, skills and talents of the young children we work with so that they may become role models and future leaders by equipping them and their families with the knowledge, skills social capital needed to raise their attainment levels, break social immobility and improve their life chances through education and personal development.

Camp Crusoe is the quintessentially British summer camp experience where campers feel connected, valued, challenged, and supported. We take having fun incredibly seriously and believe that as modern childhood is all too short we must help our kids make the most of every moment of it. While school work is a vital part of our children’s development, so too is holiday time: Camp Crusoe is very much a fun and adventurous camp and not a summer school! We are the perfect size. There are plenty of opportunities to make new friends with no more than 80 campers per session. We know every camper by name, what interests them, if they need extra support or just an open stage to shine. Over the course of camp, community bonds are forged that last well after campers return home, sometimes a lifetime. Having seen first hand how our American cousins get it so right when it comes to summer camps, we feel it is essential that every child has the opportunity to get away from home each year and enjoy a new environment, testing themselves, trying new things and making new friends, all while having fun in the great outdoors. Too much time seems to be spent cooped up with electronic gadgetry of one sort or another when there is so much fun to be had outdoors, playing with other kids in a safe and controlled setting. Our extensive program of activities from water-sports to drama, archery to photography, appeal to every type of child, offering the opportunity for each camper to grow in confidence, improve their decision making skills and maybe discover a new lifelong hobby. We don’t try to cram too much in and allow just the right amount of time for campers to hangout, make new friends and play together. We are a small, independent camp run by a close-knit team of friends and family who are committed to enriching children’s lives. The core group have many years experience working with children both on summer camps and in the classroom, and are supported by a highly trained and motivated team of camp counsellors, many of whom have worked at camp before and are planning a career working with children. Camp Crusoe is about allowing children the time and space to be exactly that - children. Fun and personal development is our ultimate aim, but we also know from experience how much children learn at camp, both about themselves and about being part of something larger than them. Kathy King is a Science and Psychology specialist who has worked with a variety of vulnerable groups including young people with special educational needs, including social, emotional and behavioural problems, and the homeless. She is passionate about showing others the power of being active in nature and using outdoor activities as a tool to improve wellbeing. Her research has proven that participation in a 6-week Forest School programme can increase attendance and reduce exclusion rates from mainstream school. Applying the fundamentals of the holistic Forest School approach in all that she does, Kathy believes this can create positive changes in behaviour. Kathy made a life-changing decision to leave teaching and enrol on an outdoor instructor programme after experiencing high levels of work-related stress and anxiety. The 2-day a week course provided an opportunity to master new skills and focus on what she considered to be most important in life. It was on the water that the idea for the Wild Camp Training Programme was born. This is a project aimed at young women who are currently out of education, employment and/or training (N.E.E.T) and is designed to empower and increase physical and mental health. Since then, the charity has evolved to deliver after school clubs, forest school sessions, holiday clubs, 1-1 outdoor activity sessions and group days out.

Our Holiday Camps are a great opportunity for your child to recieve professional coaching from FA Qualified Coaches. Most notably, it's a fantastic chance to keep your child active, enjoying football and learning during the half term periods. We offer a 3 day courses with Outdoor and Indoor Facilities. The best thing is - it's ONLY £14 PER DAY! These will run from 9am-3pm. Payments will be accepted on the day(walk-ins) It is important for us to have bookings as early as possible so we can base our sessions/activites/games and days around it. What should you bring with you? Suitable clothing for football (including appropriate footwear) Warm and waterproof clothing in case of bad weather Football boots and shin pads Moulded football boots for hard ground Sun block and a sun hat Full packed lunch and lots to drink All coaches are CRB checked and hold FA coaching qualifications. Qualified first aiders will be present at all times throughout the course. Children will have regular breaks for water, snacks and lunch. The FPFA has full public liability insurance. Kids love our after school clubs. Parents do too. At Trinity After School Club we are proud of the exciting and stimulating childcare we offer. We understand each child is different and that they want to get involved in different things. Every day there are planned arts and crafts activities, outdoor games, and quiet time for reading or to do homework. All the children get involved in planning the activities and outings at the after school clubs. They bring new ideas or develop initiatives suggested by the staff. The kids make sure we do interesting things and get involved in the community – from a tooth brushing project, writing a song and a performance on anti-bullying to building relationships with a local elderly residential care home. We make sure there is plenty of variety. Our experienced staff encourage an all-inclusive environment where consideration for others is paramount. Policies and procedures are in place to cover all aspects of childcare to reassure parents and guardians that we have their children's interests at heart. Flexibility of care is important to parents and guardians and we offer full-time (5 days per week) and part-time places (2, 3 or 4 days per week), and we operate a Crocodile Club for P1 and P2 children who finish earlier. We cover most holidays and in-service days and our team plan ahead with the children to offer a great range of holiday activities.
