Peer Hub is a user-led community organisation based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. We currently offer online peer support services and are about to begin to develop peer support groups in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. With our community partners and allies, we'll be developing peer led, rights based mental health support for people in the Chester-le-Street area. We will focus on alternative services for people in crisis or severe distress who do not want to go to psychiatric hospital, can't get access to other forms of support or don't find them helpful. Since our launch in February 2021, we've been working with our customers and community members to create living, working and community spaces that are welcoming and supportive of people who experience severe mental health problems. We do this through both our professional services and our community support, online and in person

The Property Ombudsman (TPO) scheme has been providing consumers and property agents with an alternative dispute resolution service since 1990 The Ombudsman’s resolutions are designed to achieve a full and final settlement of the dispute and all claims made by either party. The Ombudsman can, where appropriate, make compensatory awards in individual cases up to a maximum of £25,000 for actual and quantifiable loss and/or for aggravation, distress and/or inconvenience caused by the actions of an agent. Independence TPO is a not-for-profit independent company. Its unitary Board has 9 Non-Executive Directors, including its independent Chair, Baroness Diana Warwick. The Board appoints the Ombudsman, sets the Terms of Reference for the scheme and has responsibility for raising sufficient funds for the administration and functioning of the scheme. The Board has no role in the discharge of the Ombudsman's duties or decisions.

IncludEd aims to provide a safe, stimulating and comfortable environment for students to increase their opportunities, as well as exploring new and interesting activities. We work with students as a whole and build on their educational attainment as well as their social and emotional well-being. IncludEd offers students advice on Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance, as well as offering individual advice on future choices and opportunities. We recognise that our pupils have experienced difficulties in responding to the day-to-day challenges of a mainstream school and that they require personalised support in extending their range of emotional, social and behavioural skills and achieving appropriate learning outcomes.

We offer holistic therapy courses and qualifications through the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies and International Institute of Sports Therapists, accredited by Vocational Training Charitable Trust. The group size is kept below ten in order to keep the course informal & friendly and ensure individual attention. We also offer holistic therapy treatments to the public by qualified staff at the Manchester Therapy Centre. We offer work experience to students who have qualified. Our goal was to create exciting group workouts using outdoor facilities as much as possible and doing so in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. Since then we have grown into a multi-dimensional fitness business and we cater for all aspects of outdoor group training, team building, functional corporate workouts and everything in between, whilst still maintaining our core values of combining fitness and nature in an eco friendly way. We put a huge emphasis on the social aspect of our classes so that individuals find it easy to make new friends and we like to organise group outings for members. We like to think our classes are for everybody and you don't need to have any previous fitness experience to enjoy our workouts. Big Shop Friday is an independent, non-profit, artist led organisation and arts space based in central Milton Keynes which acts as an alternative, multi-faceted space, fostering opportunities for artists and creatives and encouraging critique, exchange and experimentation outside of existing institutional or commercial spaces within the sector. We provide opportunities for networking, collaboration and exploration through an artist-led programme of exhibitions, events and talks, as well as being an open access work space, to establish a dynamic hub for critique, dialogue and creative practice. We work to bring together the emerging creative community of our town by offering a platform where creativity and collaboration can grow organically through a public programme of events and workshops. We encourage our network to utilise Big Shop Friday as a site to test and experiment new work and ideas. We’re organised and run by a team of voluntary co-directors as well as the incredible support of friends, family and loyal Big-Shoppers!

Our vision here at ‘Soma’ is to offer a tranquil, community driven and inclusive wellness hub for those wishing to pursue health, happiness and soul searching. Through yoga, dance, movement, meditation and alternative therapies we hope to provide a sanctuary that can be shared and enjoyed by the local community of Otley and beyond. SOMA has long existed in our minds – it just took a lot of meetings, creative vision and shopping trips until we were able to finally create our little studio. We had one main intention – to build a studio that could impact the lives of those living around us. We wanted to create a space whereby people feel warmth as they enter, a space for people to unwind over a post-yoga coffee, a space for children to explore their worlds through learning and movement, and finally a space away from home whereby people could seek that much needed physical and emotional restoration!
