London

PAM Insight is an independent company dedicated exclusively to serving a broad and diverse community of professional wealth management organisations around the world (currently in over 50 jurisdictions), with innovative, market-leading and independent information products and services, delivered online, in print and face-to-face. Building Relationships based on Trust Since launching the world's first publication specifically devoted to wealth management back in 1997 (long before other publishers jumped on the bandwagon, to try to emulate our business), we have remained focused on the fundamental principle: that our business relationships should be built upon mutual trust and the consistent delivery of sustainable value. Our mission is the consistent delivery of accurate, sharply-focused and timely “must-have” information that is relevant and useful to our subscribers in their professional work. Our subscribers have come to rely upon the services we deliver and we are proud to serve them. The majority of our business over the years has resulted from third party recommendation and referral. We do not spend money on advertising, preferring to focus on engaging in direct dialogue with our existing clients, many of whom have been with us on our journey since the beginning. It is possible that you may have arrived at this website, because one of our existing clients has told you about one of our portfolio of specialist products. Please feel free to contact us to discuss how we can help. We look forward to working with you. Pursuing Excellence through Innovation Innovation and the pursuit of excellence stand at the heart of our business culture. We constantly strive to offer our clients the best possible service, as well as the latest ways to help them achieve their business objectives. We continue to search for new and better ways to deliver information that is timely, accurate and relevant to our clients’ needs, wherever they are. Ever since the launch of our first specialist publication devoted to meeting the needs of senior private banking and wealth management professionals back in 1997 (before 'wealth management' was widely accepted as a term to describe the sector’s activities), we have continued to break new ground.

Sarah Rhodes - Singing Lessons for beginners to professionals

Covid Secure Guidance Taking into account Government advice, I have offered and continue to offer my students an online alternative to one to one studio lessons. These live lessons are carried out via FaceTime, Zoom or Skype. These are and remain difficult times with no certainty as to what will happen next. Online teaching is of course, no substitute for face to face tuition. Many of my students have asked me to begin teaching again in my studio. I have therefore decided to re-open the studio, and offer one to one teaching, but strictly following Covid Secure guidelines. My existing students will be aware of how keen I am to ensure that students with a cold or any other illness which may be passed on, do not attend lessons. (After all, I and several of my students rely upon our voices for work). The current situation makes it much more important that we all follow the Covid Guidelines so that we stay safe. Contact me now to find out more. Covid Guidelines if you think that you have a cold/flu, fever or any other illness which may infect others you must not come to your scheduled lesson, but must immediately let me know; social distancing – at least 2 metres separation (3 whilst singing) must be observed at all times; there will be no physical contact (for example to demonstrate breathing techniques); students must enter the studio via the entrance driveway and through the side doorway leading into the courtyard where my detached studio is. (Please note that I am regretfully unable to offer toilet or refreshment facilities for the time being); hand sanitiser will be available and must please be used on entering and leaving the studio; Students are not required to wear face masks (and unless otherwise requested by my student I will not wear one); Whilst I will take steps to follow Covid – Secure guidance, and will keep the studio clean and well ventilated before and after lessons, students must appreciate that I cannot guarantee their safety or be responsible for any infection.

Jane Woods Coaching

Empowering individuals and teams to thrive, navigate the ups and downs in life and reach their potential both personally and professionally is a real privilege and a passion. Resilience, confidence, collaboration, trust and emotional wellbeing (meaning purpose, strengths and values) are the areas in which I’m most interested. My enthusiasm for coaching evolved through my 35 years of sales and management, mostly within pharmaceutical sales with Pfizer Oncology and an early career in recruitment. From sales performance coaching in 2018 I progressed to personal development coaching and at the start of the COVID 19 pandemic I started coaching via the NHS leadership academy and private sector. It was at this time that I also trained to be a cancer coach with Cancer Support UK. Whether facilitating team and leadership development days or 1:1 coaching I bring energy, fun and creativity to virtual and face to face interactions. As an ILM5 coach and facilitator my approach is empathetic, encouraging, inspiring and strengths and solution focused, drawing on a variety of coaching models and leadership practices including Appreciative Inquiry and Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead. I am an accredited Conversations Worth Having practitioner, an ILM wellbeing coach, a cognitive behavioural therapy practitioner, a mental health first aider and Mental Health Swims host. I also provide cancer coaching and support for Cancer Support UK, Youth Cancer Trust and ALK Positive and EGFR positive UK. Inspired by my love of the outdoors, and a Nature as Co-Facilitator programme, I like to weave the natural world into our conversations where possible. My top Gallop Strengths are Ideation, Strategic, Focus, Achiever & Competition. Simply put, I love bringing people together to define the challenge, establish the best of what has been before and explore what is possible in the future. “Everything we need is within” is my coaching philosophy. What can we learn from nature about resourcing ourselves and adapting to life’s ups and downs? Identifying my clients’ purpose, meaning, signature strengths and values is part of this process. Adapting to change can be uncomfortable and, like trees, this can be when we grow the most. When we create the right conditions, we can blossom.

Hull

UK GLOBAL LEARNING ASSOCIATION FOR SCHOOLS (UKGLAS) is a co-operative network which exists to support a range of professionals who have a role in supporting the international and/or global dimension in education. The Association was founded in 1996 and until 2008 was known as UKAEIES (UK Association for European and International Education in Schools). UKGLAS is registered as a charity in the UK (registration number: 1063668). The overall mission of the Association is to support the membership as they work with schools and school networks of all types to develop an international outlook and prepare their learners for life in an increasingly globalised society. Regular inputs from these organisations and opportunities for networking are part of the benefits of membership. The current membership of around 25 includes personnel working in a range of over-lapping contexts. They include international education consultants, Local Authority international co-ordinators and advisers, workers from Development Education Centres and languages specialists. Prior to the 2019 UKGLAS held regular meetings (usually three per annum in London) plus an annual conference. During the pandemic these meetings and conferences were held online. We resumed face to face meetings (with optional virtual attendance) on 18th October 2022. Please see the Membership and Meetings pages for details GLOBAL LEARNING ASSOCIATION (GLA) is the not-for-profit trading arm of UKGLAS established in 2012 (Company number 7468905). UKGLAS membership entitles individuals to apply to become GLA Associates at no extra cost. The GLA is able to bid for commercial contracts and pay suitably qualified Associates for their work. The majority of our Associates are also qualified teachers and some have recent experience of headships or other senior management posts. The GLA has been part of several British Council programmes including all the iterations of Connecting Classrooms. We also held the contract for the assessment of the International School Award up to August 2022 and look forward to bidding into a successor contract in the coming weeks. Our EU work included many Key Action 1 training courses and we hope to re-start these outside of the UK in 2023. We currently manage one of the final EU Erasmus + projects – see www.getcreativewithart.org Many of our Associates are also British Council Ambassadors.

Bricolage Consulting

bricolage consulting

I see individual growth and development as being both fragmented and interlinked. By applying the concept of bricolage, a term used in anthropology meaning taking things which are available to create something new within a cultural context, I aim to co-create a safe space for individuals to explore this fragmentation. I would support and encourage individuals to see themselves and life more holistically.  Training, supervision and therapy is available in person, online or through blended online therapy with face to face therapy. Therapy can be short term or open-ended. I find open-ended work most effective and satisfying. We usually meet weekly at a regular time, as this tends to be the best way of being able to support the work. I offer daytime and evening therapy and supervision sessions.. Initially I suggest we meet for an exploratory session, to give us both the chance to find out whether we feel we can work well together. As well as exploring what has brought you to therapy, we will discuss confidentiality, privacy of information, cancellations, holidays, reviews of the work and payment arrangements.  If you decide to work with me, we will discuss and sign a written contract together, including privacy and data protection aspects, then review our work regularly thereafter. Salma Siddique, PhD, FHEA, FRSA, FRAI is an academic and clinical (psychotherapist) anthropologist based in Scotland. She obtained her doctorate in anthropology from the University of St. Andrews and later qualified as a UKCP registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.  Research areas Her main research teaching is based on the dialogue between psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and anthropology. This is influenced by her clinical experience working with people in trauma resulting from oppression, abuse, torture, fleeing disaster and conflict zones. Salma actively encourages engagement in research based on the philosophy of indigenous epistemologies. Child observation is at the heart of training and enhancing on-going practice-based evidence. Emerging research practitioners will gain a greater understanding in the application of self-analysis to the research. They will apply a diversity of methods such as psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and (auto)ethnography when considering intersubjectivity and its experience of the 'other' within their own configurations of meanings She is a contributor to research writing as a clinical anthropologist. Her work and practice engage with the tension between collective guilt and personal responsibility examined from the witnessing of identity and belonging through displaced lives, racism and systemic oppression.
