Living with a host family gives you the opportunity to practice English in a
friendly, stress free environment, while at the same time gain an insight into
the way of life in your chosen destination. The main advantage of living and
studying in the teachers' home is that you have maximum exposure to the language
each day. In contrast to studying at a typical school, with Live in Languages
you are isolated from your own language and therefore there is no temptation to
speak anything but English. In addition, you have the undivided attention of
your personal teacher and there is no time wasted traveling to and from classes.
After your lessons, you are free to spend your time however you choose.
Normally, lessons take place in the morning (Monday-Friday) which leaves the
afternoon, evening and weekends free for family, social and cultural activities.
You may choose to study, relax or tour the city. You will be oriented to your
location by your teacher and given information about transportation, local
attractions and events taking place during your stay that may interest you.
