Village Montessori Nursery School starts it’s journey in 2011 at the Rowlands Castle village with just four young children. We are proud to announce that our second nursery at Compton UpMarden village is ready for children in this coming September 2021. Both of these nurseries are surrounded by beautiful nature with woodland and field that provides our children plenty of outdoor learning opportunities during the day then retrieve to the cozy classrooms for chilling out. We have strong believe in following and promoting the Montessori philosophy in a secure, safe, healthy and enjoyable learning environment. Our Motto is ’Ensuring every child’s learning is a wonderful process of self-discovery adventure.’

The Wild Rangers programme was created to provide children and adults of all ages and backgrounds the opportunities to interact with and access nature in fun, inclusive, creative and inspiring ways. Our mission is to promote the conservation and enhancement of the green spaces and nature conservation sites we work in for the benefit of wildlife and people’s wellbeing. We do this by running outdoor adventure learning sessions and carrying out nature conservation work, including leading volunteer days which help improve local green spaces. We believe all children and adults of all ages and backgrounds should have access to nature near to where they live.

We are not letting that stop our creativity! You can continue your art adventure from the convenience of your own home. Continue to draw, paint and use mixed media. Fiona demonstrates every step of the project from selecting materials, providing drawing options, fixing bloopers and even cleaning up. Each 30-50 minute episode walks kids through easy steps of drawing options and painting techniques that are fun to create and easy to master. Children are encouraged to make drawing choices from the on-screen prompts. Each episode offers children a chance to create the project more than once, using alternate drawing and color options.

Hi everyone. I’m Emma, a mum of two, the founder of Story Rangers and the class leader for South Staffordshire. Prior to becoming a full-time Story Ranger, I worked as an English Teacher for over 10 years. I’ve always been passionate about the importance of inspiring a love of stories in children and have been lucky enough, time and time again, to witness how stories have the power to transport children to other worlds, to develop their language and communication skills, to grow their imaginations and to help them explore their own feelings, relationships and the world around them. I love my job and can’t wait to take you and your children on an exciting story adventure!

once upon a story

Once Upon a Story launched in 2020 in Worcestershire. The aim of the group is simple, let children develop through storytelling and give the grown ups a safe place to enjoy time out of the house with a hot drink and time with their little ones. Each week we will have a new theme and explore a story through music and sensory play. There will be time to enjoy free play for the little ones while the grown ups have a chat and a drink (plus biscuits of course!) We will also celebrate our wins for the week and be a place to support and uplift each other during this crazy adventure of parenthood!
