ABOUT ME A Leadership Coach With A Difference I'm now an ICF accredited individual, group and team coach. But that isn't how I started out in life! I'm also a PhD research scientist and I've spent 16 years working in and leading academic and pharmaceutical drug discovery research teams. Most of that time I was thriving, but I reached a turning point where I often felt like I didn't fit, and I didn't know why. In part of my role I felt I was valued and doing well, but in another part I was constantly told to do things a different way and everything felt difficult and frustrating. So when I got the opportunity to train as a coach I jumped at it! Very quickly I realised I had a special talent for coaching. I was surprised to discover that a lot of apparently confident senior leaders struggled at work. and that I was able to help them in a way they had never experienced before. Even in those early days of coaching my clients commented on my calm, relaxing presence that made them feel they could be themself in our sessions and discuss things they never normally shared. The training also involved a lot of self development and group work, which helped me to figure out my situation. I started to understand why I wasn't happy in part of my job, yet loved the other part. A big part of this was discovering the concept of flow.

I’m Jane, a mother to three wonderful children, from Mid Wales, a fully insured and certified Reiki Master and Energy healer, Shamanic practitioner and lover of the moon, nature, music and dancing! Wild Moon Wellbeing was something that was born several years ago as I was going through my Reiki Master training, with my guides helping to show me a way to bring my work out into the world, to support and empower women. But first I had to begin with myself. I have spent the last decade and more, on a deep exploration of finding different ways to support my family’s and my own wellbeing, taking us from just surviving to thriving. Developing a deeper understanding and connecting to the cycles of nature; the moon, seasons, menstrual cycle and life cycles has been hugely transformative particularly in my relationships, creativity, energy levels and general wellbeing. I love sharing this work and seeing hugely positive impact it has on people’s lives. A mother for over twenty years, and mother of three, I have a broad understanding of the issues that mothers can face today; particularly for parents of children with additional and complex needs. I know the importance of giving mothers space to be heard + seen, to have space to themselves, to recover and adjust and a little time to re-discover who they are again. And also that parenting is ever evolving… just when you think you know what you’re doing, there’s something new to learn just around the corner!

Gayle founded Mindproof Ltd after working with adults and young people aged 16+ in mental health for over 10 years, predominantly within NHS services. During her time with the NHS, Gayle has helped many clients overcome a wide variety of common mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias and trauma and specialises in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as well as EMDR therapy. Gayle is a fully accredited member of the industry’s governing body, the BABCP, which is regarded as the highest ‘gold’ standard a CBT psychotherapist can achieve. Gayle has written several research papers on topics such as burnout and engagement within the workplace and the use of CBT for the prevention of depression, for which she was presented an award from the University of Oxford. Gayle holds a full CBT Diploma and graduated with distinction from the world renowned University of Oxford’s Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC). Dr Steve MacGillivray is an experienced Health Services Researcher and Systematic Reviewer with a background in Psychology and a PhD in Health Services Research obtained within the Medical School University of Dundee. In the past he has worked in Departments of Psychiatry, Epidemiology and Public Health, Mother and Child Health and currently he works part-time as an Associate Professor in a School of Health Sciences. He has particular expertise in conducting meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials (particularly Cochrane Reviews), meta-syntheses of qualitative studies and rapid evidence reviews for policy. In his career he has led international teams to conduct systematic reviews across a wide range of topics. He has been successful in collaborating with local, national and international partners to receive research funding of over £6 million to support research activity. In his academic career he has secured research funding from the following bodies: World Health Organisation (WHO); UK Government; Scottish Government; Department of Health Policy Research; Department for International Development (DfID); Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC); National Institute for Health Research (NIHR); National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE); Chief Scientist Office (CSO); Scottish Funding Council (SFC); National Health Service (NHS); NHS Quality Improvement Scotland; Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC); NHS Education for Scotland. The Islamic Finance Council UK (UKIFC) is a specialist advisory and development body focused on promoting and enhancing the global Islamic and ethical finance industry. The organisation was launched in 2005 by a group of like-minded professionals who sought to make a contribution to the development of the new and exciting Islamic finance industry. The founding directors, comprising a banker, an accountant and a lawyer, recognised that it was not within the mandate of their current businesses to invest resources into growing this young and emerging sector. The idea was conceived to establish a not-for-profit organisation which could provide a formal platform for them and others to dedicate their time and expertise, on a pro bono basis, to drive the sector forward. The initial priority of the UKIFC was to support the expansion of the UK consumer retail market where the existing infrastructure was not considered adequate for the Muslim minority population. At the global level the organisation sought to contribute by developing pioneering capacity building programmes for Shariah scholars and encouraging improvements in regulatory policy.
