Established June 2011 at the Carlton-in-Lindrick Civic Centre At Rebecca’s Dance Studios we pride ourselves on providing a warm, friendly teaching environment in which students will develop confidence, technique, stage presence and personality. Whether you wish to dance as a hobby, or fulfil ambitions of a professional dancing career, we have classes for all ages and abilities. No matter why our students dance, we aim to support and nurture every individual to ensure they reach their full potential. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatics and Mime as part of the Association of American Dancing (AAD). We also teach Contemporary, Streetdance, Gymnastics, Musical Theatre and offer adult classes in various subjects. Dancers have the opportunity to undertake examinations in all disciplines. Students will work towards medal tests and be invited to perform in local and national productions. The AAD offers students training, with professional choreographers, and performance opportunities at prestigious theatres to prepare them for a career in professional dance. The Arts have been a huge part of my life since a young age and so I decided to open this school to share my life experiences and my love for the Arts with you. I have danced, sang and acted since the the age of 4 and went on through my life to compete with dance across the country. I graduated with a Drama BA Honours Degree and during this study time, I ran workshops in a range of settings and learnt how drama can help impact people’s lives for the better. I went on to become a successful Primary School Teacher in the Enfield Borough and have been teaching here for the past 12 years. During this time, I became a ‘Performing Arts’ and ‘Literacy’ leader, driving these areas to become successful within different schools. I explored and embedded many programs including ‘Literacy Through Art’ and the ‘Power of Reading’ and saw children’s thirst for books, drama and art thrive! Children became better readers and loved exploring various stories through drama strategies. I still run INSET training for teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers on ‘Literacy through Art’ – showing how art can help impact writing skills and broaden children’s imaginations whilst raising attainment, building confidence and a love for art.

Anna is an accomplished flamenco dancer, choreographer and teacher currently living in the UK. As well as performing sell out theatre shows with her flamenco company, Amor Flamenco, she has her own Flamenco dance academy: ‘Academia Flamenca’. Anna teaches flamenco dance is Spain and in the UK. She is an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher who is passionate about communicating the depth and power of authentic flamenco dance to her students, whether online or in person. ‘I started creating the downloads and DVDs because so many of my students were telling me how they struggled to remember the steps, rhythms and movements they were studying in class. Students are very hungry for information and help and I wanted to give them something that would augment their study. What started as something to help my own students, grew and evolved as more people were asking me to help them. The decision was made to lease a warehouse building in Farlington. During the summer of 1996 determination and parent power turned a warehouse into a purpose made facility. Within a month we were up and running. 2015 saw a huge rebrand and a refurbishment, to the red and black themed gym you see today. Over the last 28 years PSG has grown into an amazing ‘family’, embracing all its members past and present. This of course includes our present day 35 home grown British Gymnastics quali ed coaches, and the 500-600 children, young people and adults that pass through our doors each week. Our goal is simple ‘To provide every gymnast with the best instruction possible, in a well organised, fun- lled, safe and exciting learning environment. MCT joined forces with Rockman Advanced Composites in 2018, dramatically increasing its production capacity as well as many of the services it can provide its customers, such as Structural FEA and 5 axis machining capacity amongst others. The addition of the Rockman team has allowed our customers to access LCC opportunities for many of their programs and benefit accordingly.
