Universal Yoga started in 2004 when Charlotta completed her Teacher Training Certificate and moved into the village, initially we ran classes at the Conygre Hall and the Congregational Church Halls in Timsbury, only in 2008 did we get a space of our own at Red Hill, soon outgrown, we decided to move to Dunkerton Hall, a beautiful little parish hall which we get to have all to ourselves. Universal Yoga, as the name implies is a centre for everyone, young and old, pregnant and babies. We are all from the Sivananda lineage and we strongly believe in the yoga of synthesis, meaning that each class should be a combination of postures, relaxation, breathing exercises and sometimes meditation. Both Charlotta and Becky are Senior Yoga Teachers and as such, run a Teacher Training course every year. We believe that nothing should stand between you and your yoga class, so if there are any financial concerns, please get in-touch to see if we can help in some way. Fi grew up in London and throughout her childhood was always either making things, drawing or painting. She did her foundation course in London and then chose to leave the city and take her degree in Fine art Painting in the beautiful city of Bath. After spending a couple of years, based in a studio group in Bristol, making her own work, she decided to move back to London and shortly thereafter she did a PGCE and began her teaching career. After having her son, and due to work commitments, Fi and her family moved to Worcester and this is where she began honing her skills as a jeweller. She is now a jewellery designer and painter, offering unique, handmade jewellery pieces which are mostly made in silver, incorporating semi precious stones and accents of gold. Jewellery commissions are regularly undertaken and include recycling of old jewellery pieces to make new. Her jewellery is inspired by the style of ancient and archaeological pieces and natural forms and aspire to having a very handmade, and 'just dug up' look. Most of the work has been hand forged but more recently Fi has employed the lost wax casting process and now also runs workshops. Vibrant colour plays a large part in both her painting, prints and jewellery. Having trained in Fine Art, she uses the studio to paint in and undertakes portrait commissions. Having a portrait painted of a loved one can be an excellent way to mark a special birthday or occasion. As with possible jewellery commissions she would be more than happy to discuss requirements and options. There are a selection of workshops which can be booked in her studio, based on jewellery making and painting. Workshops can be a fantastic way to learn a new skill or done as a group can be a wonderful experience.

DSC_5958 Beata Dzwigol is a Gong and Reiki Master Teacher, Awaken Soul guided by the Source, Akashic Records Practitioner, Intuitive Spiritual Healer, The New Earth Goddess Temple FounderTM, Movement Meditation (DANCEmandala) & Cacao Ceremony Facilitator., and Holistic Therapist. She works closely with her spiritual guides to bring the body back into balance and assist in a person’s soul path and growth by drawing on her Akashic Record knowledge. Jarek Dzwigol is a powerful Gong and Reiki Master Teacher, Spiritual Healer, Angel Practitioner and an excellent Tarot Reader. Jarek is able to perceive energy fields surrounding the bodies of others, and can determine from the condition of the aura, the various issues which may be affecting the person. These issues may manifest as either spiritual, physical or mental in nature. By drawing on various methodologies, he is able to restore the aura, bringing great relief to the individual. Beata and Jarek are Soul Mates and they are blessed to share their similar passion and gifts with others. They have been playing gongs since 2012, but as they say, “The gongs play us”, with great relaxing and healing effect. This allow them to tailor each session to the needs attendees and one gong bath is never the same as another. They became Gong Master Teachers many years ago and they run they own Accredited Gong Player Training in Surrey. Here you can learn how to play gongs profoundly in a spiritual way and they have given birth to many talented gong students who go on to play gongs and other instruments professionally.

Social and emotional development is at the very heart of our work, always striving to uplift, empower and inspire our performers and audiences. We have proudly taken part in National Theatre Connections eight times, performing vibrant new work at Parabola Arts Centre, Bristol Old Vic, Theatre Royal Bath and Royal & Derngate. To date, we have also performed at The Bacon Theatre's Open-Air Theatre Festival, The Wilson Art Gallery, Cheltenham Science Festival, Bristol Shakespeare Festival, the Brewery Quarter, JOLT International Theatre Festival and the Montpelier Fiesta! Not to mention enduring a Zombie Apocalypse and following the yellow brick road to Emerald City, and that's just for starters... CYT is a safe platform to express & discover who you want to be. We believe the arts should be enjoyable & accessible for all and pride ourselves on getting to know each young person individually, to nurture their ideas, talents and strengths.
