Crafts By You came to life in June 2018. What started as a crazy idea, soon blossomed into something special. Knowing how grueling it is standing at craft fairs for hours, we thought it would be ideal to give craftspeople the space to sell and display their own handmade products. No more waiting around at craft fairs, simply just leave your crafts with us and we'll do the rest!

The Craft Directory is a platform for makers to showcase their unique handmade arts and crafts online. The Directory puts you in touch with the makers themselves.Our Brighton event at the Friends' Meeting House will be hosting more live music in the garden during the summer. Our August 27th Fair will feature Ela and Matt of Sing it Ela with Jazz from 12pm and on the 24th September we will have local Jazz an Folk duo Sloth in the City playing an eclectic mix of Meditteranean inspired Jazz and European Folk. Walford Mill Education Trust is a registered charity which aims to promote crafts and making through events, classes, and exhibitions and by providing working space for established and emerging makers. Spring 2019 This spring brings new changes to Walford Mill. The mill, a converted historic watermill in the heart of Wimborne, has been home to Walford Mill Education Trust for over 30 years. Following the need to seek a more sustainable future, Walford Mill Education trust is changing its commercial focus and will be providing new opportunities for talented, local artists, makers and designers. The current shop on the ground floor will be replaced by a brand new education space with existing disabled access via a disabled ramp. Artists, schools, touring exhibitors and makers will soon also be able to book unique flexible art exhibition spaces on the ground floor to showcase their art and craft to the public. Although there is no longer a dedicated shop on-site almost all work on display in the exhibitions and by the makers in their studios is available for purchase, priced to suit all pockets. Studio rental space will double and the new space will be available for hire on the top floor which will be a welcome opportunity allowing local makers and artists to work and exhibit in East Dorset at competitive rates. Graduates and emerging new makers will also be able to benefit from working alongside like-minded artists enabling them to bring their work to the public eye.

SP Creative Crafts was developed from a love of crafts, creating and sharing. Many of Crafts have been learnt from my Mother, which is why both our initials are in the business name “SP” Bobbin Lace by SP Creative Craft uses the traditional techniques with modern threads to produce individually handcrafted items for Individuals and their Homes Bobbin lace is a traditional textile made by braiding and twisting lengths of thread, which are wound on bobbins and worked on a pillow with pins I got introduced to Bobbin Lace just after my seventh Birthday, and soon got involved in the Nottingham Bobbin lace Society – Young Lace makers and Calverton Young Lace makers; which involved taking part in the English Lace School John Bull Trophy where the Calverton Young Lace makers won the Poole Trophy. The entry was a banner to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the invention of the stocking frame machine, by Rev William Lee of Calverton.

I make fun and functional kiln-formed glass pieces. I also run classes in fused glass, stained glass, mosaics and lampwork. I have been working with glass for over six years and like to try out new techniques and ideas.

Why choose Mumadora Crafts? We try not to double up on stalls to allow for variety and minimise your competition. You will get a personalised shout out on social media in the lead up to the event. We are a friendly local fair and a great fair to start with if it will be your first time. Our fairs are held inside so you don't need to worry about the weather. Free parking. Our Locations: Kidmore End Memorial Hall, Reades Lane, Sonning Common, Berkshire RG4 9LL Lane End Village Hall, Finings Road, Lane End, Buckinghamshire HP14 3EY Space and Stall Costs: Kidmore End Memorial Hall, Sonning Common: We will supply you with a space for a 6ft table (please bring your own or hire one from us) and chair(s). We have a limited number of tables available for hire at £5 per table. Cost = £25 per stall (£30 November and December). Table hire is £5 per table. Lane End Village Hall, Lane End: We will supply you with a 6ft table and chair(s). Cost = £30 per stall. Payments: 1 Market - If you are only booking one market, you will be invoiced in full, payable within 3 working days of the invoice date, your booking is not secure untill payment is recieved. More than one market - If you are booking more than one market, you will be invoiced for the full amount of your first market at each location and a £5 non-refundable deposit for the additional markets. The balance on the additional markets will be invoiced 1 month prior to the date of the market. NOTE: you are still at risk of loosing your booking if the balance is not paid within 3 days of invoice date.

Paint your own pottery or create your own craft; it's creative fun for everyone, no matter how old or young you are! So, how does it work? It's easy peasy! Normally, you can pop down to the studio to select your craft, e.g. pottery painting, silk clay, throwing and handbuilding with clay (it's advisable to phone ahead if you want to come down at the weekend as we're often running special workshops). Obviously, not so easy peasy in Lockdown, but we've got loads of take away options to keep you out of trouble whilst at home. If you don't mind waiting for your masterpiece, choose one of the many, many pieces on display on our Take away pages, grab an apron and a paint brush, let your imagination run riot with the wide range of glazes, leave your creation with us for a few days, then collect your glazed work of art and enjoy! We're sure it'll be worth the wait!
