leivers dance school

This is a fun, welcoming class which is suitable for Adults of all ages and Abilities. Currently classes are pay as you go £5 per class paid on arrival (Cash or card) Please wear something comfortable that you can dance in, and don't worry - we keep our clothes on! The class comprises of a mixture of styles to create fun choreography, sometimes with the use of props. Class starts with a warm up, we keep it similar each week to help you become familiar with the steps. Next we move to the choreography section where we learn a dance, each dance takes approximately 1 half term to learn. Don't worry if you are new, we recap each week so you won't fall behind. The class then moves to a cool down at the end. Most dancers do this class in bare feet. We do use props in some of our dances however this can all be adapted to suit you so that every dancer is working at a level suitable to them! We have some people in the room who have never danced before and others who have danced for 20 years! Everybody is welcome!

URWell was created by Sabrina Ovadya-Lenson and Evren Celik to be an effective platform of individualised solutions of wellness practices fitting into everyone’s lives. Clients are guided on their everyday challenges such as exercise, nutrition, stress management and other general wellbeing topics. Both Evren and Sabrina come from competitive and international corporate backgrounds in Law and Finance. Despite the challenging work environment over the years they managed to keep themselves in balance thanks to their mutual passion which is wellness. While Sabrina adamantly took the necessary steps to become a Pilates teacher and a qualified Personal Trainer, Evren spent a relentless 500 Hours to become not only a Yoga instructor but a trainer for Yoga instructors. Having always valued the role of movement and exercise, Evren and Sabrina set out to deepen their understanding of a true wellbeing concept. Creating a well-balanced routine of intensive physical training and peaceful mindfulness sessions, Sabrina and Evren optimised their own skill sets. This led them to develop a professional perspective in guiding their clients on their everyday challenges such as exercise, nutrition, stress management and other general wellbeing topics.

Many courses run at South Leeds Community Radio and other community venues, as well as inner-city schools Production and recording – moving image and audio. Vera Media has produced over 150 films for training, promotion, campaigning, records of events and much more, specialising in work with public, third sector, charity, arts, environment, education, feminist and community organisations. Productions have been broadcast on the BBC, Al-Jezeerah and more, and won awards at festivals around the world. Consultancy, fundraising, project and community development. Vera Media has run commissioned projects and programmes supported by NHS, Arts Council, National Lottery, European Union, government departments, local authorities, national charities, social enterprises, foundations, the Skills Funding Agency and more and is now able to offer its expertise to others. It is available for consultancy on social enterprise, marketing, projects and development for sustainability and within communities.

Ealing Chinese School has been established for forty-three years. As an overseas model Chinese school and Chinese Proficiency Test Centre, all teachers in our school have undergone professional training and most teachers have more than five years of teaching experience. The school uses “Zhongwen” as the main textbook and “Easy Steps to Chinese” as the supporting textbook. GCSE and A level classes use local Examination course books. Since the epidemic, we have been using Zoom and Google Classroom. All teachers are proficient in online teaching. All classrooms are well-equipped with interactive white board and projectors. The school currently has 11 classes. The age of the students ranges from 4 to 18, and the grades range from Reception to the GCSE and A-Level class. I run workshops in wreath making at seasonal events and for other celebrations such as hen parties, baby showers and get togethers. I also deliver practical gardening workshops in subjects such as pruning and propagation. I am also a garden consultant. With over 10 years of practical experience working in a variety of gardens, I can advise on how to get the best out of your garden. Sessions will be tailored to your needs entirely, but could include advice on the following topics: * care and pruning of plants, * additions & changes to planting, * practical tuition, * changes to garden layout, * improving sustainability * aiming for year round interest * encouraging wildlife into the garden Previous clients have found this useful when taking on a new garden; particularly when it comes to decisions on first steps and identifying existing plants and how to maintain them. I’ve also visited clients who have got stuck in a rut with their garden and need a fresh pair of eyes to see where changes could be made.

MISSION Our mission is to reduce the risk of violence and aggression through campaigning, education and support. VISION Our vision is a society in which people are safer - and feel safer - from violence and aggression; we want people to be able to live life to the full. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK's pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority, established in 1986, following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client and never returned. Suzy was never found and eventually declared deceased after seven years in 1993. Suzy Lamplugh Trust is widely regarded as a field expert in lone-working and personal safety training, stalking training, as well as consultancy, campaigning, and support services. It has a long history of working within the Violence Against Women and Girls sector, dealing particularly with stalking and harassment, given that it is believed, and indeed the evidence suggests Suzy may have been targeted by a stalker. The National Stalking Helpline was set up by the Trust in 2010, it has helped over 70,000 victims since its inception, and is the only service of its kind globally. The Trust exists so that what happened to Suzy does not happen to anyone else, and for over 35 years, we have worked towards reducing the risk of harassment, stalking, aggression, and violence by empowering people to take steps to avoid, mitigate or manage risks across all aspects of their life. The Trust campaigns heavily to raise greater awareness of personal safety and stalking issues, demand systemic change where needed, influence public policy, and promote a society in which people are safer and feel safer. Its longest running campaign has been the licensing of the operators and drivers of minicabs and private hire vehicles, which begun in 1998. This campaigning and policy work has been pivotal to changes in legislation and practice nationally - including in the introduction of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, and the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, which introduced specific offences for stalking, and the 2020 stalking protection orders.
