AAA STAR Driving School was born out of a simple idea: bringing high quality, accessible and affordable driving education to our community. We recognise that each student has an individual approach and pace to learning. Hence we pride ourselves in uniquely tailoring our teaching methods to maximise the students' valuable lesson time, making AAA STAR Driving School one of the best providers in the South West London Area. We invite you to explore our engaging and diverse course schedule, and keep checking our webpage and social spaces for further information and regular updates. OUR STORY. Ganesh learned to drive at the age of 19, passing his driving test on his first attempt. He distinctly remembers a compliment from his assessor that he was one of the safest drivers that he had seen. During his time in Germany, Ganesh also attained a European Driving License and garnered many praises for his driving talent from his instructor. In his early 20s, Ganesh steered his career trajectory towards corporate opportunities and worked his way up to several managerial positions. But one of Ganesh's keen interests has always been to establish his own business. Consequently, after establishing his family life, he channelled his passion for driving and teaching into his career and commenced his endeavour to become a driving instructor. At the beginning of his journey, Ganesh taught at a local driving school for five years, where he developed his expertise and expanded his clientele. The next phase of Ganesh's journey was to establish AAA STAR Driving School, with the support of his spouse and three children (the namesake of the company).

Clean Break

Clean Break uses theatre to keep the subject of women in prison on the cultural radar, helping to reveal the damage caused by the criminal justice system. Through our unique work, we raise difficult questions, inspire debate, and help to effect profound and positive change in the lives of women with experience of the criminal justice system. Since 1979, Clean Break has been the only women’s theatre company of its kind, and we continue to inspire playwrights and captivate audiences with our ground-breaking plays on the complex theme of women and criminalisation. Through theatre workshops and projects in prisons and in the community which build confidence, resilience and wellbeing, we transform the lives of women who have experienced the criminal justice system or who are at risk of entering it due to the challenges they are facing, such as mental health or drug use issues, which place them in circumstances that make interaction with the criminal justice system difficult to avoid. Our Members Programme is available to women aged 18 and above. The Programme offers a range of workshops and performance opportunities led by esteemed female theatre artists, underpinned by comprehensive support. Clean Break’s women-only identity is crucial to our rationale. The treatment of women by the criminal justice system is one of the clearest demonstrations that our society is still unequal and that women are judged by different standards to men. Our vision is of a society where women can realise their full potential, free from criminalisation, and we believe that theatre enables women to challenge their oppression by society in general and by the criminal justice system in particular.

Welcome to Soar Valley Archers. Our club has a rich and proud heritage of some thirty years standing. We are based in the beautiful village of Seagrave in Leicestershire. We are privileged enough to also have the use an indoor facility which allows us to continue our activities throughout the winter months. This last year has seen our membership nearly double which is great news for both the club and the sport of Archery. I am keen to encourage our Junior Members and we will be running 3 Beginners/new intake courses of six week duration throughout the year. This gives us more control over providing enough training equipment and to monitor numbers more easily. We have a varied membership ranging from 8 to 80 years of age and we are open to all members of the community. We are extremely proud of our safety record and there are always senior members on hand to provide assistance and advice when required. I am addicted to archery and it is so refreshing to be able to join up with so many like minded enthusiasts. Our members specialise in every different archery discipline from ancient longbow to more modern recurve bows and we also have a healthy number of compound archers who embrace the latest technology that the sport has to offer. If you want to take part in competitions and tournaments we regularly enter teams for major events or even if you just want some exercise and pleasant company. We are a friendly bunch and a warm welcome awaits anyone wishing to take up this ancient sport.
