CNG has decided to organise Lunch Club to entertain the elderly with traditional Iranian music and board games allowing them to interact with many others. We also supply them with Iranian cuisine. READ MORE Education For CNG the education of our youth and future generation is very important. CNG has a supplementary school where it focuses on teaching Farsi. The students are able to attend the extra-curriculum activities which take place after Farsi lesson. This includes Maths & English to enrich and support the students also Art, Crafts & Dance. READ MORE Support Due to covid-19 pandemic there has been a huge demand among the elderly, disabled and low-income clients for living essentials. CNG has been able to hand out food and supplies to many people. These people were not able to leave their homes for months due to the fright of COVID-19 and we believed it was our duty to help them.

We were so proud when we opened the first pilates equipment studio, not only in Chorlton, but the only Pilates Studio in Manchester back in 2009. Although Pilates started to really take off in the UK around 15 years ago, the traditional Pilates studio complete with its unique Pilates equipment has taken much longer to make an impact in the North of England. But matwork is only scratching the surface of the full Pilates experience, to really get the full system as Joseph intended you need to come and visit us in our small Chorlton studio where we work (and play!) on the full system. Joseph Pilates designed the equipment himself and his exercises for the mat have evolved from the reformer and the other big pieces of equipment such as the cadillac, chair and barrel. Once you experience the studio equipment for yourself you begin to understand more fully how to get the most out of each exercise and you can then apply that to your mat work. For example in a mat class I often say “imagine that you have spring attached to your arms” – on the reformer and the cadillac you are holding onto those springs! By using the springs for resistance throughout the session you will feel the whole of your body working and really challenge yourself. The use of springs doesn’t just act to make exercises harder, it also can support you and is especially beneficial when trying to master rolling work.

Cut Editions is a silk-screen printmaking studio specialising in the production of limited edition original artist prints. Established in 2017 by Ni and Ben Gooding, the print studio is based in The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth, Suffolk. Originally a Victorian Maltings, the building is now home to a theatre, gallery, arts cinema and cafe and has a prestigious cultural programme. Situated on the ground floor, Cut Editions aims to collaborate with artists and designers who wish to make original prints. Artists do not have to have any previous knowledge or experience of the screen printing process. We are here to guide you through every stage. We will give as much or as little help and advice as required. We are able to make editions for artists or artists are welcome to book time in the studio in order to produce work for themselves under our technical supervision. Cut Editions offers screen printing courses and workshops aimed at beginners and the more experienced print-maker. Classes are small and designed to be enjoyable and affordable. Ben Gooding is an artist based in London. He has a 1st class Honours Degree in Fine Art (Printmaking) from the Cambridge School of Art and an MA in Fine Art from Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design. He has since been living and working in London. Alongside his own practice, he teaches printmaking at Camberwell College of Art and is a contributor to Saturation Point Projects.

All the classes are taught by professional full-time practitioners, who love to share their knowledge and skill. The classes are open to all levels, unless stated, and kept to a very limited number. This keeps the classes intimate and allows for everyone to have sufficient help and encouragement in a friendly atmosphere. At 23 years old, I retired from the world of dance after qualifying at world class competition level. From then, I moved into the fitness industry and qualified as an Aerobics instructor, taking classes with up to 100 participants. During that time, I qualified with the YMCA and the RSA (Royal Society of Arts). As well as Aerobics, I have taught a large selection of group classes including Step, Pilates, Yoga, Circuit Training, Boxercise and Kettle Bells to name a few. I have a wealth of experience in the fitness industry and have worked with people from all walks of life to help them achieve their desired goals. Originally from Glasgow, I moved to London and lived there for over 20 years. In London I worked as a Personal Trainer as well as a health and confidence coach and clinical hypnotherapist and trained/coached clients on a one-to-one basis from the comfort of their own home. In 2019, I finally moved back to Glasgow so I could spend more quality time with my loved ones. I am a friendly, courteous and straightforward man who is extremely passionate about helping people live a happier life.
