Our Islamic Scholarship program is highly flexible, allowing students to study modules at their own pace. We have an advisory timeframe of 3 years for completion. Examinations are held on a bi-annual basis for the modules already completed. We have a strong ethics in which we believe that the basic / foundation knowledge in each field should read everyone and therefore Shaykh Atabek has decided there will be no cost for these level 1 FREE - Basic / Foundation knowledge for modules. Continuous development - There is no end to learning, research and seeking knowledge. During our research if we believe, we need to go back to a text and further review and teach it with new principles we will do without hesitation.

North Tyneside Music Education hub engages with all 76 schools in North Tyneside. As well as ensuring that over 9,500 young people regularly engage in our wider opportunities whole-class tuition programme each year, we also support a network of self-employed music teachers who deliver small-group and individual instrumental lessons in schools. CPD We run programmes of CPD for music teachers and associated staff, provide curriculum support and design services and are always on hand to advise schools on how to make music provision the best it can be in each individual setting. Tutors Our team of NTMEH tutors also work to lead and support ensembles and choirs ran in schools, with over 3,000 young people regularly taking part in extra-curricular musical activities across the borough each year. Young Musicians Over 5,000 young musicians are regularly involved in our North Tyneside based hub events each year, and we also provide further opportunities for our young people to engage in other regional and national events with the support of our broad network of partners. Music Centre NTMEH Music Centre provides over 300 young people with the weekly opportunity to attend a wide range of bands, orchestras, choirs and a music theory group. All of these activities are free of charge. We also facilitate the Youth Music funded Standing Upright project, which provides access to musical opportunities for disadvantaged young people from across the borough, offering them the opportunity to work towards Arts Award qualifications and to train to become a NTMEH Young Leader. SALT South West is a Plymouth-based Christian voluntary organisation ( known as SAIFLINE until 2006), offering direct help to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. SALT is a member agency of The Survivors’ Trust and our Co-ordinator is a member of TAG (Trauma and Abuse Group). We are accountable to our Management Committee of five and have a Council of Reference which includes an MP, a Bishop, another Minister of Religion and a media presenter. We are currently a team of ten members, two of whom are counselling students and three of whom are currently paid part-time (Team Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator and Administrator). Our volunteer listeners have all undertaken the in-house SALT training, some have various counselling qualifications including specific sexual abuse/trauma related subjects. Some members of our team are survivors and bring with them personal experience and knowledge. Supervision is fundamental to our work and each listener receives a minimum of one and a half hours every four weeks. We are a close team and there is always the opportunity to share and offload inbetween when necessary. (Which is often the case in our field of work). Our Annual Away Day gives us a chance to meet outside of work to share, explore and be refreshed as people, not just as co-workers. Behind the scenes, our 60 prayer partners have the important role of supporting us and we meet together once a year. SALT works with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, age 16 and above. Everyone is received by us regardless of background, belief or behaviour. Our services are free of charge but donations are always welcomed. We do not want anyone to be excluded from receiving good quality psychological help.

Dear Parent Culross Primary School is a small school set in the historical village of Culross. The main school building has 4 classrooms. There is a dining/gym hall, a library, a resource area and office accommodation. We opened one of our classrooms as a Confucius Classroom in February 2018 and we have one Chinese exchange teacher based here. As well as teaching across the Queen Anne High School cluster they offer immersion days for all pupils across West Fife and Queen Anne High cluster schools. We have a large playground and grassed area, which is used to its full advantage throughout the year for play, sports, outdoor learning and Eco-activities. We promote active travel to school using the WOW Travel Tracker. We follow the The Curriculum for Excellence where learning and teaching focuses on all curricular areas, ensuring balance, breadth, coherence and depth. Children have the opportunity to be taught a musical instrument from P5 onwards. We have a Support for Learning Teacher based in school to support and challenge where needed. The Parent Council is very supportive of the school and the fundraising branch supports the school through fundraising and organising fun events. A residential excursion is offered to P6/7 every year to Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre. We also offer a variety of sports in addition to the PE curriculum. We have been awarded our Silver Sports Scotland Award which we are very proud of. We run a Bikeability award every year for P5/6/7. We are also a Health Promoting School. Our pupils run a healthy tuck shop - Monday to Friday. We provide school dinners which are brought in from Camdean Primary School. All Primary 1 - Primary 5 receive free school meals. We have recently been awarded Level 1 Rights Respecting School Accreditation.

We are all embarking on this journey together which is far better than going at it alone, neuroscience proves that we are wired to connect and at Calm Collective we have created a community driven space where we can come together, be together, thrive together. Our Story Calm Collective is a family run studio, founded by Mother & Daughter duo, Tracy & Lua. “We created Calm Collective to share the gifts that Yoga gave us during difficult periods in our life. We lived as a single parent household and were faced with many of the challenges that life threw our way, including loss, anxiety & depression. After Tracy stepped away from working full time in the city, and Lua left university, we opened the studio to give back what we received from our Yoga practice. Through hard work, and the support of our community, we are now able to provide wonderful classes, therapies and so much more in our Sidcup studio and out in the local area. Billericay

The site of Mayflower High school has a rich history since long before the school itself opened. First inhabited in the Iron Age, burial mounds still exist in Norsey Woods, but the town that would eventually become Billericay became important when a Roman settlement was formed following the defeat of the local Trinovante tribe. During the Saxon period a now traditional form of local government came into being. The area was then owned by King Harold's father, who is buried locally, who named the fortified settlement Burghstede. The area then passed into the ownership of William the Conqueror's half brother. When he fell out of favour, William gave the lands to the Cistercian monks. In 1381, men from Billericay joined the Peasant’s Revolt against the poll tax. The rebels were pursued by the Kings armies and a battle ensued in Norsey Woods, adjacent to the modern Mayflower site. Why a ship? Whilst Billericay had become a flourishing commercial centre during the reign of Henry VIII, religious persecution during the reign of James I of England (James VI of Scotland) led some inhabitants to embark on the famous Mayflower voyage to America. The expedition was led by Christopher Martin, born in Great Burstead who is believed to have lived in what is now known as the Old Chantry in Billericay High Street and a meeting of the ‘Pilgrim Fathers’ is said to have taken place in Billericay prior to the sailing In September 1620, the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, a port on the southern coast of England. Nearly 40 of the passengers were Protestant Separatists (they called themselves “Saints”) who hoped to establish a new church free from religious persecution, in the so-called New World. It is the Mayflower ship that is represented on the school’s badge.
