WiseUp Team Building prides itself on delivering team building activities that engage participants. We encourage young people to develop new skills in a fun environment. It is our belief that outdoor education should be accessible to everybody. As a consequence, we are continually developing new methods of delivery to guarantee that all participants’ needs are met. Who We Are Founded in 2011 by Richard and Alexandra Wise, WiseUp Team Building is a mobile company. We provide fun and educational activities all over the country by bringing the equipment to participants. The company started with just one van going out and delivering activity days. Now on our busiest days, we have up to nine teams out all over the country. Richard and Alexandra have over 35 years combined experience working in the outdoor education sector. Working both abroad and in the UK gave this dynamic duo a vast amount of experience working with young people. Additional years at both privately owned and government run establishments meant running activity days for students of all different backgrounds. Whilst working at a large multi activity centre, Richard and Alexandra realised the demand for an outreach service. Chatting to teachers highlighted that bringing young people off site was becoming difficult and certainly more expensive. As a result, Richard and Alexandra founded WiseUp Team Building. A fully mobile service offering the same activities run at outdoor centres to schools across the UK. Running fun and challenging activity days on school grounds significantly reduces the cost. Consequently, this means students from lower income families who can’t usually afford traditional outdoor centre visits can participate. By coming to you, WiseUp removes the complicated planning involved taking pupils off site, which is always a good thing for everyone. Most importantly, students in both Primary and Secondary schools are able to access quality outdoor education. The Team A core operational team support Richard and Alexandra with the logistics of managing WiseUp. Our fantastic activities team uses their years of experience in the outdoor industry to develop new and exciting products. WiseUp is all about innovation, not imitation. Each year, we hire and train additional instructors to deliver our activity days to the highest standard. Many of our Lead Instructors return each season. As a result, it’s not surprising to see some familiar faces returning to your school year after year. WiseUp just would not be complete without our hardworking maintenance team. They spend hours during every season making sure every piece of equipment is completely safe and beautifully painted. This results in our kit coming to schools looking great. National Awards WiseUp Team Building is often recognised for its achievements. Over the years, we have won a number of awards. For example, in 2015 Richard and Alexandra won The Kent Business Award. Previously Alexandra was listed as one of the top 30 under 30 entrepreneurs in Kent. The History A significant feature of a WiseUp Team Building activity day is our distinctive vans. I started out in theater where I learned classical singing techniques. Ventured into writing my own music at the age of 14 and started my 1st band by the age of 15. From then to now I've worked with Rock, Country, Progressive, Acoustic, Heavy Metal and Blues bands. As well as musicals and show tunes. After high school I worked with my local community centre on opening and running our town's 1st music club, focusing on mentoring young bands and musicians. In my college years, while studying songwriting and music production in school I kept pursuing my vocal ambitions and began my work with more modern singing techniques and schools of thought such as SSL and CVT. After learning so much about the different aspect of voice production, new and old, popular and extreme, I decided it's time I ventured into teaching. Today I am a BAST graduate and a certified vocal coach. My hope is to enrich and guide as many like minded singers with the knowledge and experience I've accumulated over the years in a fun and exciting way! Singing is not only singing. Dulwich Riding School is approved by the Association of British Riding Schools and has recently been awarded a five star Health and Safety approval from our local Council, Dulwich Riding School was founded in 1961 by Mr James Thomas Bellman, himself an expert horseman and instructor who spent a lifetime with horses and riders. The late Mr Bellman passed on his knowledge and riding school to his daughter Linda Gray who has sadly now passed away too, she has passed the Riding School onto Jaye Montebello, her daughter, the current Manager and Proprietor. Jaye was the Manageress (now proprietor) and is still hands on along with other family members who are still running the stables, also part of the Bellman family. Ellie is part of the family who currently rides and instructs at our London riding school. Lynne is our Health and Safety Manager (she shouts the loudest) and Amelyne and Ishka have been with us on and off for years, `University and Equine College being their breaks, we specialise in nervous and novice riders and are brilliant with building confidence. OJ also part of the Bellman family is currently a Junior Instructor, Ellie and Jaye our instructors specialising in working with Advanced riders and Jumping Lessons. Bonnie, Alice, Lydia, Melissa, Neveah and Natasha are Junior Instuctors and are especially good with children and parties, they are voluntary although been with us for years, however, a couple of them will be full staff from September, watch this space. NO one instructor can be booked for a lesson due to rotas and schedules although we will do out best to accommodate where possible. Our staff, volunteers, working pupils and family give their time helping Dulwich Riding School flourish and maintain the standards Mr J. T. Bellman set. Lots of our team are volunteers, they are a strong a valuable part of our team and without them we could not maintain the standards and level of professional care to all our Riders and Horses at Dulwich Riding School. WHAT DRIVES US Passion and determination to uphold Dulwich Riding School's reputation and high standards that Mr Bellman attained. Each instructor feels very proud when a client passes an exam, or completes a successful course or just generally leaves the stables feeling a sense of achievement or just having lots of fun. The ultimate drive is to be part of 17 wonderful horses and ponies' lives, building bonds and being priviledged to do a job that we enjoy. Meeting new people, talking with old friends and generally networking within our industry. HORSES Currently 17 at present working horses, mostly stabled although all horses have access to our onsite small turnout paddock, and access to full turnout in Kent, park rides, pony camps and further turnout located off site for rotation and requirement.

Lifetime Learning is a Charitable Organisation providing FREE courses within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH). Lifetime Learning started in 2012. Since the birth of Lifetime Learning, the organisation has grown and further providing more courses. Lifetime Learning’s main source of funding is achieved through Analyse School Performance (ASP) Training and Consultancy. Analyse School Performance (ASP) Training and Consultancy is provided for all schools and local authorities, analysing the school’s performance and progress data. The mission is to provide quality and multifaceted courses in education and training for Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Special, Church and Independent Schools. Lifetime Learning started off providing IT Training to disadvantaged young people in Tower Hamlets. We have successfully grown and now provide over 15 different courses that are open to the general public! Lifetime Learning is dedicated to working with individuals who want to better themselves. Achieving the fulfilment of education and helping individuals achieve sustainable employment in their desired fields is what we strive for. We work towards spreading permanent change in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets by reducing the unemployment rate, as well as increasing health and social well-being. Lifetime Learning works with grassroots organisations that have gone through a stringent selection process. Would you like to partner with us? Funds are raised in the UK by organising events and through donations given by individuals, sponsorships, partnerships and organisations.
