Sapphire International Aviation Academy

sapphire international aviation academy

SAPPHIRE INTERNATIONAL AVIATION ACADEMY was established in 2004 to cater to the growing worldwide demand for aviation pilots. Since then, the institution has diversified in other fields of aviation education; aircraft maintenance, flight dispatching, flight attendants and tourism management courses. The Philippines, as a country with high literacy and English proficiency, has positioned itself to be the hub of Aviation learning in Asia. As such, we attract a growing number of students coming from various parts of the globe, notably, the Middle East, Europe, Western Asia, and the Pacific Rim countries. As the world recovers from the effects of the global pandemic, the Aviation Sector, which was one of the most affected, strives to bounce back to bring learners and travellers across continents; to again, create the demand for more Aviation Professionals to work the various aeronautical industries, giving Aviation schools the reason for being. To take advantage of this opportunity, SAPPHIRE AVIATION established its pilot training school with a view to make a difference. This difference – QUALITY – gives SAPPHIRE AVIATION an edge over other flying schools. Quality in its training programs, quality in its training facilities, quality in its training approach, and quality in its training staff. To this day, SAPPHIRE AVIATION has already produced a good number of pilots. Some of these are already working with aviation companies. Others are now working as Flight Instructors and in other aviation-related positions. SAPPHIRE AVIATION, therefore, is not just another flying school. It takes its business seriously; it is here not just for the ride; it is here to make flying an enjoyable career and a profitable profession.

Warrington

Introduction to the Garden Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden was created by a wealthy Warrington banker, Thomas Parr, around 1830 when he built a new house and estate for his family. The land nearest the house was designated as parkland to give a suitable setting to the mansion and the outer areas were farm land. The landscape that existed at that time was incorporated into the estate and many of the woodlands, ponds and avenues that formed the parkland then still remain in place today. As a whole these features form a significant record of a landscape designed in the manner of a gentry country estate. It appears, from historical records, that the estate was at its height from 1875 – 1899 and this is considered to be the most significant period for the design and productivity of the garden. The house was demolished in 1975 but the 4 acre walled garden was retained as a local amenity. English Partnerships refurbished much of the garden as part of their development of the area and new housing, working closely with the Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden Conservation Project charity, the Warrington Organic and Wildlife Gardening Society and the Woodland Trust. Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council took ownership of the garden in 2005 and, with the help of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and the Friends of Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden, has developed the facility into a peaceful, well maintained and beautiful garden which is now a popular local visitor attraction and resource for horticulture, education and enjoyment.
