We can also use software which allows us to track consumer location, use geo-fencing to highlight where stores or advertising are, and deploy on-the-go video capture. The founder of Peony Blue, Jonna, spent her childhood running wild in the beautiful nature of Finland. The winters were spent enjoying the snowy landscapes and muted colours, and summers spent listening to the wind in the trees and the sound of waves at her grandparents' summer cottage on a small island. These memories have given her a huge love and appreciation of the nature around us. Jonna uses her roots deep in Nordic nature as a constant inspiration for her work and is committed to being respectful of the environmental impact made by her industry. Since graduating Jonna has explored many ways of creating floral designs using natural, biodegradable and recyclable materials. In the early years of Peony Blue, Jonna concentrated on wedding work and creating gorgeous wedding flowers for her clients as well as teaching other flower lovers about floristry. After the Covid pandemic put a stop for weddings and workshops, she rediscovered her long time dream of running a florist shop where she can combine beautiful flowers, eco friendly homewares and spreading joy with flowers on daily basis. After seven years of dreaming, the first Peony Blue shop will open its doors in Bournemouth in April 2021.

Hello I’m Sam, a qualified Primary School teacher with 10 years experience and a mummy to three beautiful children who love to explore, be challenged and get ‘hands on’ and dirty! When I first became a mum I enjoyed trying lots of different groups with my daughter but I was surprised by the lack of structured creative art and messy play groups that were available to pre-school children. I also noticed how lots of my mummy friends (and myself included) avoided doing creative and messy play at home mainly because of the vast amount of mess tiny people can make with a just few pots of paint! With this, and my education background in mind, Little Squigglers Peterborough started! I passionately believe children should have the opportunity to explore, learn and express themselves through many different forms of creative play. Sir Martin is an independent non-executive director of the House of Fraser Group and a board advisor to a number of China and education related businesses. He is also chair of International Inspiration, the sport for development charity which sprang from the London 2012 Olympics and vice chair of Leonard Cheshire Disability, the UK’s leading disability charity. Sir Martin lives with his family in Dorset and is a trustee of the Dorset Community Foundation. Sir Martin was knighted in 2014 for his services to British cultural, scientific and educational interests worldwide.

Helen Davies is a contemporary glass artist who studied Applied Arts at the North Wales School of Art and Design, Glyndwr University, receiving a BA Honours after specialising in glass. Continuing with her studies she gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education to enable her to work in colleges sharing her knowledge and love of glass. She set up FIRED Contemporary Glass producing handmade timeless pieces in her studio in Lymm. Influenced by nature and the elements, her artwork adds ambiance to its given surrounding. Helen produces unique of glass artwork from coasters to wall panels, dishes to garden art, exhibits with groups and runs glass workshops. Her garden studio is in the heart of Cheshire overlooking fields to the rear for the relaxing ambiance much needed for the creative thoughts to flow. Helen was awarded the Steering Group Choice Award by Cheshire Open Studios. Helen continues to design and develop her work and endevours to use once useful items and incorporate these within her pieces of glass artwork. She works from her garden studio in the heart of Cheshire with rural views. Most of her inspiration comes from the elements, nature and finding the need to up-cycle once useful items into pieces of artwork.

Hello and welcome to The Balance Rooms Yoga and Wellness Centre, which opened in Pickering North Yorkshire in the Spring of 2019. My name is Chantelle Dawson and I am the owner and founder of The Balance Rooms. I am originally from Vancouver Canada (where yoga is in our blood!), but I have lived in England for many years in the past decade, in both North and East Yorkshire. Having married a Yorkshireman in 2007, we have spent time in both of our native countries, and settled on Pickering as the perfect place to raise our two children. We are thrilled to be a part of the local community and we are truly excited to add a flavour of health and wellness to Smiddy Hill. My inspiration for The Balance Rooms comes from a long history of yoga practice (my first yoga class was in high school back in 1996) and a desire to have an integrated health and wellness centre that caters to anybody hoping to enhance their overall wellbeing. I believe that true health stems from finding a balance between our minds, our bodies, and our spirits. You cannot simply nourish one of the three, you must tend to each with loving care. The Balance Rooms will help you do just that!

It was first systematized by a great Indian saint called Patanjali over two thousand years ago, and has continued to develop over the centuries by dedicated people who have lived their lives according to yogic principals and ideals. B.K.S. IYENGAR B.K.S. IYENGAR IYENGAR YOGA TEACHING SYSTEM B.K.S. Iyengar was born on December 14th 1918 in Karnataka, India. He was introduced to yoga by a renowned yogi, T.Krishnamacharya and started teaching in 1936. He was introduced to the west in 1954 by the violinist Yehudi Menuhin and with the publication of his book ‘Light on Yoga’ in 1966. B.K.S. Iyengar is considered by many to be the world’s foremost exponent of yoga, having devoted his entire lifetime to its study and dissemination. Guruji (as he is fondly known by his students) continued to practise well into his nineties until his sad demise in August 2014. He will continue to be a constant source of inspiration to his devoted teachers and students in this – his centre in Birmingham – as well as others worldwide for generations to come.
