The bespoke and award-winning spaces we provide for residents and visitors to live, meet and work in, are located on an outstanding site overlooking Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, just one hour from Glasgow, on Scotland’s west coast. Founded in 1999 by Peter and Eileen Jacobs, Cove Park is a charity funded by Creative Scotland, by trusts and foundations and by the generosity of individuals. Since 2000, Cove Park has hosted over 1,500 artists and our former residents include Margaret Atwood, Ann Carson, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Mariana Castillo Deball, Alasdair Gray, Beca Lipscombe, Tom Morris, Ciara Phillips, Elizabeth Price, Charlotte Prodger, Simon Starling, Christos Tsiolkas, Jan Verwoert and Louise Welsh. Rosey is a RGN, Midwife (lapsed) and Health Visitor. She began her career in aesthetics in 2007 with The Hospital Group and latterly, Transform Medical Group. In 2011, she qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber (University of Wolverhampton) and opened her first beauty and aesthetic clinic in West Bridgford, Nottingham. She left the NHS in 2012 and Transform in 2016 with her clinical skills developing to Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. Rosey is Director of Pro Aesthetics Ltd and Pro Aesthetics Courses. Both aesthetic treatments and CPD Approved training courses for Doctors, Dentists and Nurses are offered from the Pro Aesthetics clinic in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Her passion for training and level of expertise was recognised whilst attending a course facilitated by Wigmore Medical, London when she was requested to assist the trainer! Rosey was immediately invited to join Wigmore’s esteemed panel of trainers responsible for courses in Introductory and Advanced Dermal Fillers for Doctors, Dentists and Nurses. She continues to facilitate PDO Thread training courses at Wigmore. Rosey has presented and demonstrated her clinical skills at the Wigmore Medical Open Day 2017 to an audience of 175 medical delegates and Aesthetic Medicine North. Rosey was invited to join the elite Allergan Medical Faculty as a Nurse Trainer/ Ambassador in 2017 and has led Allergan’s 5 : 1 training programmes for the Introduction to Leaders and Visionary Codes throughout the UK. She believes learning should be an interactive, supportive process whereby both trainer and delegate gain from the experience. She recognises the importance of continually developing clinical skills with the safest techniques whilst emphasising the consultation and assessment process. Past delegates have greatly appreciated her corporate background in assisting them with the Consultation process within smaller clinics. This aspect of a client’s journey is often neglected in clinical training.

Hi, I’m Angharad and I live in Hull with my husband Paul, our two boys Caden and Colby and dog Phoebe. Since having my sons, I longed for a career change that gave me more time with my family. With being in the hairdressing industry for 19 years I knew what I enjoyed most was working with people. After much research I found Tots Play. Not only had I found a class that appealed to me as a mother with all the variety it offered, but also made me excited at the thought of being able to help parents or carers develop their connection to their child with all the benefits baby massage, yoga, signing, music, movement and sensory play provides. I will also make sure you take away lots of fantastic ideas to carry on the fun times at home. Having my youngest in the first lockdown has shown me how important baby and toddler classes are, not just for little ones but for helping parents bond with their child, as well as building invaluable supportive relationships with others in the same situation. Being a parent can be incredibly challenging and lonely sometimes so finding a class where you can share stories, laugh about the adorable or cringy moments and feel part of a community is irreplaceable. My mission is to empower women with endometriosis and pelvic pain to reclaim control of their own health. Supporting women to achieve health and wellness by working out what helps them truly thrive. I know what it is like to live with chronic pain and to be told that there is no ‘cure’. Feeling frustrated that your body is letting you down and holding you back from living the life you want. I had difficult periods from the start - irregular cycles and crippling cramps. My doctor put me on the pill when I was 15 to ‘manage’ my cycle and that is the mindset I had. For almost two decades, I saw my cycle as an inconvenience, something to be managed, and believed that the symptoms I experienced were just something I’d have to put up with - it was out of my control. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 20 while studying law at university. For the next 10 years, I used the pill, prescription and over-the-counter medications to manage my symptoms and had various laparoscopic surgeries. Over the years, I took pride in my ability to push through the pain I experienced and worked hard to achieve the goals I set myself personally and professionally. I had a successful law career and loved the busyness of life, working long hours and exercising hard. I was pretty stressed, but that was normal, right? I relied on the pill and pain medication to continue with the pace of life I’d set for myself. I didn’t understand that they were just masking my natural cycles and there were so many things I could do to help heal myself.

Hannah Jones established the swim school in 2011 after teaching at Esporta for several years and growing a loyal client base through achieving consistently fast improved swimming skills, after Esporta closed Hannah seized the opportunity to set up her own swimming business. We are based at Parkhall Business Village and operate from our own custom built swimming facility, we provide swimming lessons for both children and adults. We work with a variety of abilities varying from non-swimmers to competitive athletes, offering small group, private sessions and specific skill classes such as diving or life saving. We also offer in school holidays Mermaid sessions. Our goal at Hannah Jones Swim Academy is to provide effective teaching, designed to boost your child's water confidence, swimming knowledge, water safety and skills Our groups are arranged according to the swimmers' ability, the children are then assessed to achieve awards based around the Swim England framework. National Champion - Freestyle, Butterfly and Open water. Youth Olympic Champion - Freestyle and Butterfly. British Champion - 5000m Freestyle indoor and Open water events. Hannah was selected to represent Great Britain at a number of International events but due to unforseen circumstances Hannah was unable to continue. Hannah still wanted to pursue a career in swimming and felt that by teaching people to swim she was able to share her experience and knowledge with everyone from absolute beginners to aspiring athletes.
