Dr. Steve Wolf, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 10230), in private practice in West Los Angeles. After teaching Anger Management for five years, he was recognized as having diplomate status with the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) in 2005; which he currently holds. He has been an innovator throughout his professional career. He co-directed New York City’s first Prison Therapeutic Community Program in Rikers Island Prison’s Psychiatric Ward in 1973 and directed Rikers’ first Therapeutic Community Drug Program for the general prison population in 1974. He directed a Day Treatment Center in Litchfield Connecticut, volunteered with the L.A. Sheriff’s Department to co-create Project Turnaround, an Acupuncture Detox program on L.A.’s skid row. He co-created an alternative middle school in Topanga, CA, co-authored “Romancing the Shadow: A Guide to Soul Work for a Vital Authentic Life” (Ballantine, 1997, translated into six languages), and developed “The Village Circle Project”: leaderless groups for self-exploration. He consulted as a Co-Occurring Disorders therapist in Los Angeles working with men coming directly from prison, jail or the street for five years. In 2006, he authored the “Taming Your Anger” series of English and Spanish workbooks, DVD’s, C.D.’s and workshops. He recently taught the Taming Your Anger/Emotional Intelligence Method to at-risk teens and has produced a documentary film of that program. In 2010. he founded the Wolf Training Institute, which serves as the umbrella for all the programs in development. This is where the practitioners are certified to teach and coach the Taming Your Anger, Taming Your Anxiety and CouplezWork Programs. The Taming Your Anger Program is recognized by the National Anger Management Association. In 2012, he produced the documentary, Remedy 4 Rage; the story of one alternative high school group and their journey into exploring their own emotions. In 2014, he began to host the weekly “Shrink Different Radio Show” on the TFOK Network. He has interviewed celebrities and regular people who have interesting lives. The show is about people and their passions. He maintains a therapy practice, working with adults and couples in West Los Angeles. The next book is on the evolving couple and is scheduled to be released in early 2020.

He is a keen amateur musician with a background in disability awareness. He has sat on a number of committees advising both the public and private sector on how best to support the needs of the disabled community, not only in Scotland but throughout Europe. The SMTT allows him to combine these interests in music and in disability. Trustee: Dr Philippa Derrington Philippa is a Music Therapist and Programme Leader of the MSc Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Trustee: Duncan Campbell Duncan is an Edinburgh based Music Therapist, having graduated from the MSc Music Therapy course at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, in 2018. He has clinical experience of working with adults and children with learning disabilities, ASD, mental health and also working with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Currently Duncan is working full time within NHS Lothian’s CAMHS. Trustee: Nadine Allan Nadine is a registered Music Therapist who graduated from the MSc Music Therapy course at Queen Margaret University in 2020. She is currently working with ELM Music Therapy in Aberdeen and the shire. Nadine has clinical experience of working with children, adolescents and adults with additional support needs and mental health difficulties. She is currently working mainly with children who have profound multiple learning disabilities in schools, as well as co-running a Sing and Sign group. Trustee: Hannah Quigley Hannah is a student on the MSc Music Therapy Course at Queen Margaret University. Before beginning the course in September 2021, she studied Music at the University of Edinburgh where she gained experience delivering community music workshops in schools, mainly for children with additional support needs. Trustee: Tilly Mütter Tilly is a student on the MSc Music Therapy Course at Queen Margaret University. After completing her undergrad in Canterbury she became the Music Lead at The Sunflower Federation Schools in Hertfordshire; for students with additional needs and profound multiple learning disabilities, where she used music to help improve the student’s individual targets.

QLTT was conducted in India by FLE in conjunction with Central Law Training (CLT), UK, and successful completion allows practising Indian lawyers to be admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. The programme was launched in India to allow Indian lawyers to take this test while in their home country.

The London Suzuki Group ( LSG ) was founded in 1972 and was the first group in the United Kingdom to teach music by the Suzuki Method. With 60 qualified teachers and over 600 children currently receiving tuition, the LSG runs individual and group classes, orchestral and chamber music courses, workshops and an annual residential summer course at Bryanston School in Dorset. The group offers instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, recorder and voice. Public and private concerts are regularly organised at venues throughout London and elsewhere, providing much more than the opportunity to learn an instrument. Children and parents form lasting friendships. Parents and teachers are able to share experience and ideas. Music, and the love of music, becomes a natural part of the life of the whole family. Talent is not a prerequisite The Suzuki approach stimulates and develops musical abilities inherent in all children. 18 years ago I was encouraged by a friend to think about what motivates me and what i value the most, and then to look into this as a starting point for new work. I was very unhappy working in a human resources firm; however the training and presentation experience has been so valuable. I realised that it was very important to me to eat right and exercise, not only for how I looked, but for health reasons; varicose veins, under active thyroid and injured neck and hips. So I embarked on a couple of years studying part time whilst still working full time for the HR company. Alongside this I started to pick up some part time gym work to gain the experience of the health and fitness industry; and although a very important step in the right direction, I soon found out that gym life was only a season for me. It was very soon that i started to put my retail management experience and my training consultation experience to the test and embarked on setting up my own health and fitness business. The gym environment gave me the : 1. experience I needed 2. exposure to taking group sessions, i.e. classes 3. time to invest in further courses and qualifications Then i started hiring church/youthcentre halls and designing my own Fitness Pilates classes, offering to take healthy eating workshops in clients homes, and then in time 1 to 1 Personal Training. Wherever I was living, I found an audience who needed, not just wanted, my classes and personal support. I took a leap of faith and over the years have met so many people, helped them along their journey of health and fitness and seen results which bring a ray of hope... a new level of energy and of course inspire them to aspire to the next level in their journey. I am now about to embark on the next step of faith.... from wherever I am be able to support people with their health and fitness goals virtually and personally. About Outcomes Advocacy At Outcomes Advocacy we are passionate about ensuring children and young people with special educational needs are provided with the provision they need to reach their potential. We have embraced the focus the Children and Families Act 2014 places on children and young people with SEN reaching their best possible outcomes. We recognise that parents and carers need different levels of support at various points. At times parents may need skilled specialist advocates to support and represent them in a non-neutral capacity. Outcomes Advocacy was founded in 2016 by Steve Devlin Outcomes Advocacy is the culmination of many years of experience of working with families of children with SEN and disabilities. Steve has managed one of the busiest SEND IASS (formerly known as Parent Partnership) services in the country for a London Local Authority. In this time Steve has undertaken significant training and continual professional development accredited by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority. Steve has provided a service to over 1000 parents and has delivered over 100 workshops on specific areas of SEN. In addition to his wealth of knowledge on SEN legal frameworks Steve has an in-depth knowledge of how Local Authorities function, including their decision making processes. Steve has held key strategic positions on the SEN reforms management board for Local Authorities, helping to design the new polices, procedures and key documents for the revised statutory assessments and Education Health and Care Plans. Steve has worked professionally in the field of special educational needs and disability since 2002. Starting out as youth worker with a specialism in working with disabled children, he went on to manage local and national projects.
