Having worked in offices before becoming a Personal Trainer, I believe I can relate to and apply nutritional and exercise interventions when working around busy lifestyles and work life. I work with a range of clients: Men, women, office workers, stay at home moms, business entrepreneurs. Many of whom do not have the time or resources to research every training programme or diet to apply. This is why people contact me. For help to get started with a professional who can apply a wealth of knowledge quickly. With a Bsc in Nutrition, Exercise and Health I look to apply critical thinking and research evidence skills to the advice I provide to my clientele. Researching different forms of training and nutrition is part of my continual development along with attending many conferences, seminars and lecturers from leading specialists. My own exercise and training consists of many forms of Martial Arts as well as strength & conditioning. I work by emphasising form and technique in weight training progressing moving towards a higher intensity. In 2018 I debuted in Amateur Mixed Martial Arts. My own goals are to compete again and gain more experience in the sport.

A Dance Artist based in the South West, Sam is passionate about developing exciting and interactive conversations, classes, workshops, and performances. Sam makes uplifting socio-political work with, by and for local communities, inspired by personal stories from people across all ages to grow connections, representation, and a sense of belonging. She collaborates with professional artists and community members aged 8-78+ to create compelling and dynamic storytelling. Sam’s work is athletic, exciting, evocative, sensitive and relevant. Sam Gilroy has interviewed women from Southampton for the F WORDZ Podcast, talking about feminism, failure, freedom, fierce and f***. The F WORDZ Podcast is supported by Hampshire Archives Trust. ROXCOOL is a professional instructional business based in and around the North East of England but we are often found working in North Yorkshire, The Peak District, Scotland and our favourite place in the whole world The Lake District. We specialise in climbing and mountaineering courses but also offer opportunities for adventures through guided and fun activities using our team of professionals. We were established in January 2009 and since then the company has not only survived but has prospered. We are very proud of the fact that we are the only Mountain Training course provider in the North East of England, offering all of their climbing instructor and walking leadership courses. We also offer technical self-improvement courses relating to safe systems used in climbing and mountaineering situations. Our work with both local and national charities has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and makes up a high proportion of our annual delivery. Our charity walks are a great way to encourage lots of participants and a great way to raise money for a chosen charity close to your heart. Finally, we wanted to tell you about our Spanish Adventures and retreats based in Southern Spain. These adventures definitely fit with our company strap line 'for adventures of a lifetime'. Although we have had a connection and a place set aside in our heart with a little village called Murtas for over fifteen years, we have only recently, started to offer adventures there. These adventures are as far removed from life on the costa's as they could be and so far everyone who has visited has fallen in love with the areas we have taken them to. Our Aims SATRO is a long established educational charity working across South Central England. We work in schools, partnering with employers to bring inspirational learning to students of all abilities and backgrounds. We have three key areas of focus: STEM Education: delivering in-school workshops, multi-school challenges and events, and research projects which bring STEM learning and careers to life for students from Primary to Post-16. Vocational Construction: delivering BTEC Level 1 construction qualifications, practical construction workshops and SEN independent skills training from school age to young adults. Employability & Skills: delivering careers, enterprise & skills workshops and mentoring partnerships which challenge perceptions and prepare students for their next steps in education, training or employment. All areas of our work directly involve employers in the development of real-world scenarios and careers understanding, including the involvement of staff as volunteers in delivery. We offer our services to all types of schools and students of all abilities - accepting every student for who they are. We provide a full service to schools from booking, to the provision of all materials & equipment required on the day, administration of volunteers and delivery is led by experienced tutors. The Early Years Alliance provides flexible, affordable and quality childcare across England. Ladywell Pre-school is an Alliance childcare service located in Ladywell, London. We offer 28 Ofsted-registered places and is assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted. Our committed, friendly and well-qualified pre-school team provides high quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 2 to 5 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the Pre-school. We are open Monday - Friday Morning session 9.15am - 12.15pm Lunch club 12.15pm - 12.45pm Afternoon session 12.45pm - 3.45pm 38 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days. Ladywell Pre-school proudly presents our Nature Reserve / Forest Cafe At LADYWELL PRE-SCHOOL WE WORK OFF OF CREATIVE POSITIVE ENERGY! During the pandemic when indoor trips were a big NO NO we decided to make our own trip facilities onsite, by re vamping our corridor that housed bags and coats into our own Nature reserve and Forest Cafe. Remembrance Day On Armistice Day we decided to focus on one person from WW2. Ena Collymore-Woodstock OBE is believed to be the oldest surviving female veteran of the British Army at 103. We had many discussions with the children about Ena and the meaning behind the poppy. It was fantastic to hear the children could recall the information.
