My name is Heather and I have 2 children with SEN, mental health difficulties, and health difficulties. Both my children have been in mainstream school, gone through the EHC process and are now at Specialist Schools. I have had to deal with the challenges of getting diagnoses and EHC plans and getting the right school placements for both children. I have completed the IPSEA SEN legal training and have done lots of training on child mental health. I believe that by parents working together and working with the local authority, health and other services we can make a difference. I am a National Representative for the National Network of Parent Carer Forums- raising the voices of parent carers at a national level. I am also a Co-Chair of the West Midlands Region of Parent Carer Forums.

Horns Drove Community Pre-School & RASCALS endeavors to offer high quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. The Pre-School is open 9 am - 3 pm Monday - Friday term time only and we offer places for children who are 2 years up to reception age subject to availability. We were rated Inadequate in our last Ofsted inspection in July 2022 but with the support of Hampshire Services for Young Children we hope to regain our Good grading within three to six months. We are based in a purpose built timber lodge in the grounds of Rownhams St John’s Primary School, D. We have excellent indoor facilities and a large outdoor play area for the children. We are a registered charity and rely heavily on parent/carers involvement as volunteers, fundraisers and voluntary Directors

Welcome to Caleidoscope! We look forward to supporting you! Caleidoscope is a non for profit oranisation supporting families with autistic children and professionals who support autistic individuals. We promote equality and inclusion and break the stigma of autism through training for parents/ carers and professionals and events for autistic children. The founder and director is Aleksandra Malanska, a qualified teacher, autism consultant, mindfulness practitioner and trainer, with 25 years of experience in education including SEN. Aleksandra completed post graduate studies in Autism and is trained in various interventions including LEGO Therapy, Mindfulness, Low Arousal Approach,Therapeutic Art, Intensive Interaction that she individualises to an autistic person. She is also Mental Health First Aider and a certified Mindfulness Teacher. She strongly believes that raising awareness and education can change people's attitudes and approach and passionately deliveres training for parents and professionals.

Beat It Percussion CIC aims to promote good mental health and support well-being through the medium of rhythm and sound. We became a Community Interest Company in 2013 and have built a track record for providing therapeutic drumming and sound relaxation for a diverse range of groups in the community. Our innovative work with people who are living with dementia and their carers is well-recognised. Now based in Sandwell and Birmingham, Beat It is establishing itself as a service provider across the region as well as in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Wales. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to take a break from our community-based activities and redesign our interventions to be delivered remotely. This means we can continue to support people far and wide at this time when well-being and mental health are urgent priorities in our communities.

We have a high number of students who choose to stay on in the sixth form whilst others secure appropriate courses or apprenticeships with a vocational focus. At Post 16, approximately 200 students progress to university each year.

On Tuesday 15 November we held our first Forensic Showcase. The showcase was made up of 6 different research projects that our forensic club students had been working hard on since June. The topic of the showcase was ‘decomposition’ and students used a wide variety of methods to research, carry out and record their experiments. The projects were then displayed and explained to staff, students and parents/carers, with an extra-special virtual visit from Dr Matteo Borrini, of Liverpool John Moore’s University Dr Borrini spoke to all the students and gave valuable feedback to the students on their projects. During our award ceremony, he awarded Ellie S, Milla C, Ellie May B, Willow B and Ruby S the prize for the Best Academic Research Project. Dr Borrini then awarded the runner up prize to Harrison N, Jacob M and Evie A.
